Presto - Bread Slicing Guide w/ Coded Guide Slots

I bought this one for my sister. She likes it a lot in that it is a great aid in helping her slice the bread. I have had my own unit which I have enjoyed for years! I was surprised to find out that this great tool is not made anymore! I was very lucky to find this one (brand new). The design is very good in that it really keeps the loaf in place and this tool gives you two thickness options.

So far so good. Slicer performs well, but a word of advice, cool bread in the fridge first before slicing to get cleaner and more even slices. Warm bread is too soft and can squish the slices causing for un-even slices and cuts. This angled slicer was not easy to find for this price so if you get one take great care of the product and keep it in a safe storage area to prevent damaging plastic guides. I only wish more companies continued making products like this.

And plastic cuts as easily as crusty homemade bread does. I tried using this guide several times, but with a knife sharp enough to slice through bread (using both a Victorinox Swiss Army 10-1/4-Inch Fibrox Wavy Bread...

I absolutely love the Bread Slicing Guide. I find the choice of 2 thicknesses more than adequate to meet my needs, but see how to adjust it if I ever feel I need to. I find that it really helps having the bread on an angle so that they weight of the bread keeps it snug up against the back guide. To make matters even better, I found this with a private seller on Amazon at 1/5 the "new price", still in the box, with the instructions & in pristine condition.

I love this guide. Works great for bread machine bread. Being used, it was in very good condition as stated by the seller. Not sure I would have paid the very high new price. Shipment was great from seller. I would highly recommend this seller.

It is the bread slicing guide that I have been waiting for. Knife or electric knife it slices thin or normal very well. It is tilted, but that did not prove to be a problem. One of the rubber feet came off, but I put it back and it holds. It does collect crumbs on the bottom, but it can be easily cleaned by putting it under the sink faucet..

They don't make these anymore, so was really happy to find a used one in great condition on Amazon. This is the best slicer there is, so it's a shame you can't get a new one now.. Very sturdy, and the slicing guides are spaced perfectly.

Simple, but incredibly effective. Yes, it is just a piece of plastic, but what you are paying for here is the design. The guides make it easy not to screw up. Cut my first loaf of bread tonight and it came out perfect, so there's zero learning curve. Mine came used but in like new condition--I couldn't find a single scratch or nick on it. Can't believe this handy gadget is out of production. No more half cut ends and tops--this thing works like a charm.
