This is a wonderful device. It's beautifully made, lovely wood, with a smooth finish, making it easy to slide up and down along the spine. It's bent in just the right arc to really open up cramped vertebrae without strain. It's very strong in that it easily supports my big bear of a husband! He just used it for the first time and he instantly felt relief from compression in his spine caused by his desk job and carrying music equipment. We love it. Worth all the extra €€ I spent for postage and Customs tax to Germany.

I'm a yogi with 10+ yrs. experience, and yoga has never let me down as a cure for physical issues that crop up. Recently, I was picking elderberries and twisted my torso in a way that resulted in discomfort in my upper spine. My traditional yoga poses did not work to straighten it out, and I was getting worried because it persisted in spite of my favorite spine expanding poses. I went on Amazon to order a headstander, and I saw this Back Bridge prop. It looked more comfortable than the blocks I use, so I bought it. The very first time I used it, my spine stretched out and my problem went away, completely! I was truly amazed and delighted, and I have not felt that "disk crowding" feeling in my upper back since then. Now I use it every evening before bed. It keeps me limber and my spine healthy. Thank you for your ingenuity in creating this beautiful work of art, and highly functional back prop!

Had to go to the local post office to pick it up. Shipper added a street address to my mailing address (an apartment complex). USPS wont deliver if a street address is added to your mailing label here. Why? Because that street address is likely to be for the owner of the apartment complex and they will not hold packages for tenants. There 340 apartment units here! It looks good; several layers of bonded wood. I don't know if I will be able to use it without yoga blankets though as it's quite steep. . However I think I could use it as a support in bridge pose. Maybe in a month I will be able to give it a full review. Till then I give it 4 stars for beauty/style/craftmanship.

I'm a yoga teacher. And I spent hours looking online for a quality backbenderthat wasn't complicated or too big. This back bridge was perfect. It is shapedlike an arch and although it isn't very thick, it can sustain body weight. Well,probably not if you stand and jump on it!!!The wood is beautiful and the piece stands alone as an art piece - seriously. It'sbeautiful.Compared to other back benders, this one was light weight, easy to move around,solid piece of crafted wood, designed to fit the spine, sturdy and not so expensive.If you have a tight back due to stress, poor posture, stiffness - you might want to trythis back bender. You can feel everything stretching out and releasing the pressure.Of course, it isn't meant to substitute for going to a doctor if you have pain. But ifyou just have tension in the back, it would do the trick - even if you just used itfor 2 to 5 minutes a day.Peace.

Got mine today and my back is radiating! Finally, this is the sensation my back has been craving. Excellent tool for back bending, open the heart, stretching, lengthening, and strengthening. Takes time to relax into it and to find a comfortable position, but that is the fun part! Can't wait to see the future positive effects of using this awesome prop!

I use this several times a week. I love it!!! It is great for my posture and it keeps me out of the Doctor's office. I would not like to live without it. This is third one I have bought since I gave them to my Daughters.

Perfect!! We bought one of the others previously and it had such a low arch it offered no help at all. We returned it and got this one, which is AWESOME! My son and husband use it daily and have truly felt the benefits of it. The back bridge is a sturdy furniture quality piece. It may cost a little more than the cheaper plastic lower arch ones, but it is well worth it.
