As described
Product was good and it fitted properly however it will not fix your PCV problems. It will make it better but it will not fix it.

Works?
Perfect fit, quick install (watch the videos on U2B, folks!), but still getting the whine on auto-stop and idling. Could be the affected bearings though so not necessarily a dig on the product.

Not just a simple part swap
Fixed my squeal (likely from main seals) after I put it on. But a little warning, do your homework on this fix. It is not a simple bolt on part. You have to cut the old one out and glue the new one in. I used a small hacksaw and JB weld. If you have a little skill you can go from a $1000 repair to a $40 one. Although the part finder said it did not, it did fit my 2011 X5 3.0 N55.

im skeptical to say the least.
i dont know if it’s helpful or not, car still dies every now and then and still has a bad idol. took it to a shop for $104 an hour he said the pvc valve was probably bad.....

Looks right and fits well, but occasionally causes the PCV pressure to double
Installed with no issue until I went on a long drive where the PCV pressure increased from the nominal 50 mbar to over 100 mbar causing the rear main seal to squeal. Not good. This part includes a soft rubber disk and acts as a pressure regulator and appears to not be able to regulate the PCV pressure under some circumstances. Will update this review if the cause of the high pressure is due to some other part.

Good product!
It was very easy to change took about 30 minutes. So far 2 months in with no issues.
