Easy to melt, food grade bees wax. Makes very nice salve.

This is my first time buying beeswax so it is MY fault that I did not get what I was looking for. I wanted something to make lip balm out of and this was not it. This product has a chemical smell that will absolutely not work for lips. This product DOES work well for lotions, balms, etc if you are going to add a scent to it. It melts evenly and sets up perfectly! I gave it a 5 star rating as the product would be excellent for other things.

huge ten pound bag of pellets, yellow as expected, but looks dyed not natural, could be me. does NOT have any honey smell, rather a kind of chemical smell. i did not weigh the bag, but it's really heavy, certainly ten pounds as advertised. i havent used any yet, will update on that. price was right. arrived quickly, in a heavy plastic zip top bag, VERY WELL TAPED. lot's of plastic there, had to carefully cut the tape to remove without damaging the zip bag. we shall see.

This wax has a bright almost French’s mustard yellow color. It doesn’t look like the color of any other 100% beeswax I have used or seen.It has almost no beeswax odor, if at all, so if you wanted that wonderful beeswax aroma, this isn’t that kind of wax.The wax is quite hard and does not soften to any degree from the heat of one’s hands, unlike the 100% beeswax I am familiar with.When melted it sets up very hard and glossy, very unlike any beeswax I have had in the past from other sources. It has almost no shrinkage after cooling in a glass candle holder, and when cast in a flat slab and struck hard with a hammer it does not fracture, unlike my experience with beeswax.It looks, smells, feels and behaves more like bright mustard-yellow Gulf wax than 100% beeswax.Perhaps Chinese bees produce a different kind of beeswax than other nations’ bees?Regardless of what this stuff really is, it is totally unsuited for my purpose.If you want the smell and softness and color of beeswax, this product is not for you.

great for making candles , burns cleanly , easy to use will be buying more. Using a wooden wick so far in a 2 1/2 inch diameter x 3 inch high holder candle has been burning for 4 hours and it has about 4 or 5 more hours to go

not pure beeswax, has plastic smell and colours is unnaturally orange
