Very solid coffee for the price
For a while my go to coffee was Kivubelt whole bean, which was the best quality/value I have ever found, but Kivubelt stopped selling their coffee in the US due to supply chain costs, which forced me to look for other options. I was partial to Rwandan coffee after living there for a while for work, and getting to know people in the coffee industry, but I was disappointed by most of the other Rwandan coffee options I came across for sale in the US.After trying 15-20 different products to try to find a "good enough" replacement for the Kivubelt coffee, I have settled on this Kahawa 1893 Serengeti Blend, and Volcanica Karambi Bourbon as my two favorites. Neither of them are quite as good from a taste or value perspective as my old favorite Kivubelt, but both still good on taste and value, especially compared to some of the others I have tried (Cubico, Coopers, Costco Kirkland Signature Rwandan, Rwanda Bean, Gorillas, and 3 roasts from Land of a Thousand Hills Coffee, among others).

Good coffee!
The coffee beans are fresh and taste delicious. I get the dark roast for my espresso machine. I make iced coffee with it. The price is great and cheaper than most you find in the stores. And better quality for sure. If you like the Starbucks coffee you’ll love this even better!

Too much of a blend. Did not taste like the African/Kenyan beans I’m used to.
Made espresso from freshly ground beans. Tasted like generic big store coffee beans. May be it’s too blended with beans from other parts of the world.
