Solar lights can be so unpredictable as to performance. This light has stood the test of time and the weather. Negative night-time temperatures, snow cover and it has kept working as designed. Just what was needed to keep the flag lit overnight.

These were a great alternative to hard wired up lights.

Excellent product

The Katipeal brand's "Solar Motion Lights" are an affordable and practical solution for outdoor lighting needs, featuring 158 bright warm white LEDs and three lighting modes. With the ability to choose between constant illumination, dim light with motion activation, or bright light upon sensing movement, these lights adapt well to various settings like patios, fences, or driveways. The IP65 waterproof construction ensures durability, even in harsh weather conditions, while the efficient solar panels provide long-lasting illumination. Easy to install with screws or double-sided tape, these motion sensor lights enhance security and visibility around your home. The user manual is both wrong (see cons) and poorly written and translated -- I deduct two stars for this. Pros: Bright, warm white illumination with 158 LEDs Three lighting modes Durable, weatherproof IP65 design Easy installation options A good value 12-month vendor's warranty Effective, but unadjustable, motion sensor with a wide detection range. Cons: The instruction manual is poorly written and edited and would benefit from professional and proficient English writers and editors. The instruction manual indicates that there is an on/off state. That was not the case with my lights -- all of which required only THREE presses, not FOUR, to enter mode 3. No means to tell which mode the lights are in. The lights are smaller than I expected. The solar panel is aligned for summer sunshine; not winter (the panel is not sloped enough for northern winter sun angles). There is no ability to adjust either the sensitivity or the duration of the light on time in mode 3 (dark - on with motion - off after time). Dim mode is not much dimmer than full brightness. No side LEDs, so you may need more lights. No ability to remove the rechargeable battery before discarding.

Great lights! Wish I could change the color temperature. Good light output and battery life.

This solar spotlight is super good value. I purchased two of them. The solar panel began operating within hours of being place in the sunlight and turned on. I highly recommend it.
