I got this to attach my work ID and key to and it works exactly as you might think. The sparkle element makes this like a bonus accessory. The retractable string extends for about a foot which is just enough to pull the key to open doors or to pull the ID to show for access. It clips nicely onto the belt line of a pair of pants. The metal clamp does not have too much flexibility, however, so you have to slide it onto the fabric rather than bend it back to clip on. Overall, this is a fun pick for a typically traditional product.

This badge holder is a nice, solid weight without being heavy. The snap to hold a badge in place is sturdy. I like the design of this badge holder. It's sparkley, without being over the top. It clips on easily to different fabrics and stays in place. I don't need the key holder attached to this but it's out of the way of the badge so it would be good if you needed that.
