This Amplifier is great for beginners and people getting into electric Guitar
This Amplifier is working really great for me, I am able to get great tones on it and while having freedom to edit presets. The volume settings are top notch as I can practice at a low volume and even high volume as required for situations. This Amplifier has some really great clean tones and you can get good tones for metal and rock too.

Really Great Amp at an Affordable Price
In guitar magazines and interviews it is repeatedly stated your guitar tone is all in your fingers - well that is complete nonsense - don't listen! The vast majority of your tone is dictated by the amplifier and pedals/effects you use. And this is where this little gem comes in so handy! I would categorize myself as an intermediate level player - here are my recommendations for players of different ability: Beginner Level: This is a great amp for the beginner. It arrives with 30 presets already installed for instant use and you can access a total of 100 presets by downloading Fender Tone software on your desktop. I would recommend going through the presets, selecting the ones you like and use those for practicing. For now I would avoid tweaking about changing the presets (e.g. the amp model, effects) and concentrate on your playing/practicing. Otherwise you will find yourself just spending hours tweaking the presets and trying different sounds rather than improving your guitar playing! There are plenty enough presets to find some you like and once you get more advanced then you are in a better position to start adjusting the presets or create complete new ones more to your liking/style. Intermediate Level: There are a vast array of options available to create/mould your own tone. There is a choice of 20 amplifiers to select from. Then four effect category boxes to shape the sound labelled as Stomp/Mod/Delay/Rev. The delay and reverb are self-explanatory. Stomp includes effects such as overdrive/blues driver/compressor/gate. Mod includes effects such as chorus/flanger/wah. One effect from each category can be inserted into your signal chain to shape your tone - so you can have one Stomp effect, one Mod effect, one Delay and one Rev making up your complete signal chain. The last sentence is very important - ONLY ONE EFFECT FROM EACH CATEGORY CAN BE USED AT ANY ONE TIME. For example this means when using the Stomp box, you can not use the blues driver and the compressor together. This is the main limitation of the LT25. Personally I always like to play with compression. So I have my own external compressor pedal which I plug into and from that I go to the LT25. This allows me to use the different effects in the Stomp box while retaining compression on my signal. Given this limitation I have still awarded the LT25 five stars - this is because it sounds great, compact size, it is very versatile and opens the door to a whole world of new sounds that you can spend hours exploring - all with a very affordable price tag. No need to spend hundreds of pounds building up a complicated pedal board all feeding into one amp model. I have found myself to be guilty of the exact same thing I warned the beginner level players about - spending a lot of time just adjusting my tone rather than playing/practicing! In case you are interested the signal path is: Guitar - Stomp - Mod - Amp - Delay - Reverb - Speaker A good video showing how to use the Fender Tone software is available on YouTube - search for 'How to Use the Fender Tone 3.0 Desktop App'. Advanced Level: I am guessing for you advanced level types the LT25 is too basic for your needs. You probably use DAWs/plug-in patches, etc..... But if you would like to just play sometimes and have fun without having to turn on your computer and adjusting lots of parameters then I think the LT25 does the trick! But your needs are beyond my capability so take my advice a pinch of salt :-)

Superb guitar amp! Perfect mix of easy access to preset sound effects and customisation!
This Fender Mustang amp is absolutely brilliant & you won't regret buying it! I originally bought the very simple and basic Fender Frontman amp but returned it as it couldn't produce the sounds I was looking for, so I bought this instead. There are 30 preset sounds including Fender clean, overdrive, dreamy, tremolo, skate punk, heavy metal, classic rock, Chicago blues etc. However you can tweak and edit them to your liking then save them in one of the custom slots. It's early days but so far I haven't needed to do this - the extensive presets have all I'm looking for so far and I have stayed near the beginning of the numbered preset guitar sounds as they really are that good! I can experiment more with time but what's on offer here is already very extensive to suit a broad range of tastes. There is a small colour screen to help you navigate editing sounds plus plenty of knobs to twiddle to your liking: gain, volume, bass, treble. It's performance is very high quality and it can get LOUD if you want it to, but there is a headphone jack for the benefit your neighbours. I have hi-res over-ear headphones and it sounds AMAZING! It's relatively compact size and comfortable weight make it ideal for moving around. I am so happy I chose this amp and it is a massive step up from the Marshall one I recently sold after over a decade. It's great fun to use, encourages me to play regularly and there are still many of the presets yet to discover! At ยฃ149 it's great value for money and makes my new Fender Telecaster sing!

Loud. Flexible. Tweakable and very well made amp
Wow! Such a cool little amp and very loud at 25 watts, almost way too loud for home. But with headphones in it is just excellent. Every preset sound can be tweaked and changed to suit your own taste. Saving over other presents and moving them around is an issue though. Make a backup first before moving it over another preset. Tuner works well. Seems very well built. A modern fender amp with very modern electrics. Tip: download the fender tone app onto a laptop and upload evenore presets than the 30 that come installed on it. Loads and loads of very good tones to choose from for almost every single kind of guitar style. Not a valve amp by any stretch, but reverbs, gains and delays can give a great fake imitation of one. Had it for 6 months now and still addicted to tweaking sounds to get what I want. Absolutely fabulous amp. Just what I needed
