## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can this be used for after surgery to protect the wear while it heals**
A: Yes. I used them to be able to wash my hair post surgery on my ear. I did also use tape to secure the front edge to ensure no water got it. Never had a problem with any water getting in.

**Q: are these for use with the Kinetik inner ear themometer**
A: Hello, this item is better used to protect your ears away from water. Thanks.

**Q: Is this suitable for 4 month baby?**
A: I have never tried them on a baby but they are just small versions of a shower cap that can fit around any size or shape ear and I find them useful. However they are very small and can slip off easily and might end up in the babies mouth so they would need to be supervised at all times and not be left alone with them on.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hard to apply

Hard to put on, but work ok along with ear plugs.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not perfect but does the job if you're careful
*by D***E on 28 September 2020*

Covers whole of the ear but water can still get in. I pressed a flannel against the item while I washed my hair, this, for me, assured a fairly good seal. Not an ideal way to wash your hair but needs must and there isn’t much better on the market - so would still recommend.

### ⭐⭐⭐ I have a trick!
*by N***O on 18 November 2022*

These are not great but I dont think you will find anything better. I have a trick, which can sound excesive but it works for me. I put on some silicon earplugs, then I put on top these caps, and then I use a elastic band (the kind for braids, the small ones, which are quite elastic) and boom, all set up for baths and showers. With earplugs alone I found it quite annoying because they get too wet and begin to pop out, caps alone will do nothing and its elastic is not tight but also there's no way around the part of the ear that meets the face.. how you seal it there! Boom, elastic band aside helps a lot! (also with avoiding the cap moving, so you can wash your hair in a comfy way) Some water gets in the outter ear anyway, as plastic is not water proof and also seal is not perfect, but never inside, which at the end is the objective! The elastic bands bit, i have to say if you're like me and spend quite a LOoOoong time under the shower, then when you remove it, ear is a bit sore of the pressure of the band, but hey! is what it is!
