Amish-Made Deluxe Post Mount Wooden Mailbox with Cedar Shingles (Wedgewood Blue with White Trim)

So happy with this mailbox! I bought it for my parents to actually make it into a small scale replica of their house, which I was able to do with dollhouse windows/doors/etc. but its construction was beautiful and very sturdy. Door locks tightly into place, the flag is mounted well. I can see it lasting my parents for years to come.

Looks fantastic! Good craftsmanship. Easy to install. I'll need to stain the roof to protect the wood. Some people recommended rubber sealant to prevent leaking which I'll do later. I anticipated it would be heavier as several people mentioned it was heavy. Its big but fits my standard mailbox post. Before you purchase make sure the post can hold the weight.

I received the Mail Box Wednesday, it is huge, a little larger than my current mail box but it is well made, feels very strong and sturdy. I ordered the green and it is very attractive, The paint is a beautiful medium green well painted good coverage of the paint, the cedar roof is beautiful feels strong. I have not installed it yet, I need someone to help me with that, so I have called my Handyman services to put it up for me next week. The mailbox came in a well made box, well packaged and supported, also came with no mounting material as stated in the prior reviews, hopefully will fit my current post. No complaints so far. so good. Thank you Amazon.

This is a really nice looking mailbox. Like others, I put a coat of clear finish on the roof. It is made of cedar, which is naturally rot resistant, so it would last a longer time without it. I wanted the color to stay longer and it really brings out the color of the wood. I didn’t want to detract from any of the beauty of the mailbox so I mounted my numbers on top with custom wood platforms I made, then glued on. I can’t wait to get it out on the new cedar post I installed to put it on. The old post was still pretty solid but this mailbox was so nice i thought it deserved a new post. Well worth the money.

This was even nicer than I was expecting! Made out of wood, real cedar shingles, great construction and just darn cute! The door opens and closes very smoothly. It only needed a weatherized sealant on the roof to maintain the shingle color and to weather proof it and comes with screws to put on the plastic flag. It's good sized and quite heavy so you will need a sturdy mounting post. It does not come with any mounting hardware so we had to do a bit of research into how to put it on a post but it wasn't a problem. The mailbox has an excellent, quality paint job with ample room inside for large envelopes and small packages. We are Very happy with it.

This is the cutest mailbox that I’ve ever seen! I have already had many compliments on it. It feels very sturdy and heavy! Looks much bigger in person than it does online and it’s heavy. My only complaint is that there were no pre drilled holes for my mounting plate so I had to make some pilot holes in order for my post plate to go on. But other than that, no complaints. I seen some reviews about the advertising on the front. Mine was placed on the backside so it’s not visible from street view. And I also checked the roof to make sure it was secure because I seen reviews that they were loose. Mine were on there good and roof didn’t budge. Hope this helps!

The media could not be loaded.  Bought this to replace my 15+ year old mailbox. It's almost the same as my old one so installation was simple.Pros: Very good looking mailbox. Quality of material is as expected at this price point.Cons: Took one star off because one of the roof tile is so thin I can snap it in half with one finger. I have a feeling this won't last as long as my previous one. They need to work on quality control.DAY 5: Took out another star because the door knob came off. The screw inside would no longer tighten properly. 3 stars.Update:Company sent me a completely new mailbox and this one is perfect! Great customer service

This is way bigger than I thought! Beautiful and sturdy and has so much room for mail it’s better than I could have hoped for
