I was looking for a story with Black Panther in for my 5 year old, who had seen and heard of BP but is way too young for the film and wanted to know more about the character. The other children's book we found was very simple and didn't keep his interest. This one is a chapter book with picture pages here and there and illustrated pages. Some of the vocabulary I adapted and explained but we both enjoyed this.I also really enjoyed the double page picture spread of BP meditating, when in a stressful situation. Giving young boys a good example of a hero who can reflect on his values and behaviour and also has ways of meeting challenging situations beyond fighting is something I'm right behind.
