I have purchased a couple dozen of these...I keep one in my car, two in my home and one on my person at all times. I have given many away to friends as gifts to assure they they are protected as well. With the rising crime in m city (as well as my state and our country), it is paramount that we protect ourselves. What I like about this device is that it is police model and provides dual protection with both pepper spray and tear gas. In addition, the spray contains UV Dye so perpetrators can easily be identified. This device affords one protection without having to use a lethal device. I cannot endorse this product more strongly; it's simple and easy to use, gives up to twenty bursts with an approximate 12 foot range, and the effectiveness lasts until the expiration date which is three years from date of issue, which is printed on the device. I will never be without these.

I have owned this product for approximately the past 15 years and it works great! Always remember to be standing upwind while using any kind of pepper spray it is not like the gel pepper spray will blow back in your face and yes, it does hurt!!! lol Very easy to conceal very easy to use great safety feature with top flip up above dispensing button throw it in your front pocket. Nobody will ever know you even have it. The clip on the older models was a much better design and I wish they would go back to it, the clip on the newer ones like this one does have a tendency to break after time. Keep in mind I have mine on me seven days a week 10 hours a day so it may have something to do with the clip breaking but excellent choice.

I trust the Mace brand for this kind of consumer product fairly well. I've had them in the past. The literature states that unlike many others sprays this product is a mixture of pepper (capsicum) and CS (tear gas type). This is not a toy and should be used by adults at arm's length pointing away from you with great caution. Never spray it at someone to see if it works well -- it is a real breathing and choking hazard, most acutely for anyone with a deficit like COPD or elderly etc. It's a product you keep and hope you never need like a fire extinguisher, but that means you do have to check the chemical for going flat occasionally (a small whiff at a distance of a quick Spritz fired in the opposite direction is more than enough) or replace it regularly to be sure it is going to be fully effective if needed after lengthy storage. Leakage with this system should not be a problem and the capacity is reasonable to get you through at least one emergency.

I never needed to use it which is great! But I had it clipped to my purse and the TSA confiscated that PIA. Be sure to pack it in a checked bag as you can’t carry it onto a plane. And don’t say bomb. 😊

Safety is everything , quality! Cost and the glowing criminal easy to be captured

I have bought ten of these because I give them to family members, coworkers, and friends that need a compact and portable means of self defense. If all that gets between my five foot tall mother and some scumbag that means to assault her is this little bottle, then I want her to have the most bang that she can yield. I am getting her comfortable with firearms to get her concealed license, but in the meantime, I feel better about her carrying the Triple Action Pepper Spray that has OC spray AND TEAR GAS in it. I do have a concealed carry license but I like having this on me when I jog or in places that firearms are not permitted. At the prices offered online for this sized bottle, or the smaller ones, you can put a means to defend oneself in all your loved ones' hands. I try to always get the Triple Action spray for the reasons above....OC SPRAY AND TEAR GAS!!! I gave a few bottles to my cousin who said she sprayed some in front of her and walked into it like she would perfume, just to test it out, and she said she felt its effects on her for the entire day. She said her nose was irritated and bled all day as well. That's some gooooood stuff. Protect yourself, people. Stay armed, stay alert, and stay safe.
