Washes and dries quickly but package contains 2 so you have one to use while washing. I still use a disposable pad in one corner and our puppy uses it so we don’t have to wash as often. It protects my hardwood floors.

I found this item to be really useful, especially for older dogs (like my dog) with incontinence. For the longest time, I was using disposable puppy pads. The problem with them is that if they are left out for too long on the floor with no use, my dog will start walking over them. They then fold around the corners and won't stay flat. On the other hand, the reusable pads were really nice since they are made of a durable material not to mention, better for the environment and easy to wash. They also seem to soak up a good amount of liquid without leaking.Another great thing about them is that they have multiple uses so I use it as a doggy pad right in front of his food/water bowls since my dog strangely tends to leak just as he finishes drinking water. So in this way, it doubles as a doggy pad as well as a place mat for his food and water bowls. Overall, I think this is a very versatile and environmentally-friendly product. My only recommendation is that a better material be used at the bottom to prevent slipping. My dog does not seem to have much of a problem since he is only about 30 pounds, but there were a few times where I walked on it and I really thought I was going to slip.

The reason I bought these is because I had to change the pads I was using to dog pads which didn’t work so well, they are too small and the dogs didn’t like the blue around them. They were potting all over the floor and not on the pads. When looking for new pads I found this product and thought I would give it a try.I placed my old pads on top of this one and have only had one accident off it. I no longer have potty tracks all over my floor where they walk. It absorbs well and I don’t have to worry about the mess on my floors. Even if the dogs play on them as they do it still works wonderful, I smell no odor, there is no mess. It is so nice to be able to wash my hardwood floor and have them stay clean for longer and I don’t have to worry about them getting messed up from getting wet.I love the fact that it is multipurpose, one of my dogs get car sick this is a great way to keep my seats clean and cleanup is fast and easy. There are tons of uses that I will be using them for in the future. I am very happy with the product it is as the seller say. I will be buying more in the near future.

I attach pee pads to these to protect the wood floors. Works great unless the dogs miss. They launder well.

I have a rescue dog who was apparently potty-trained using puppy pads. I have succeeded in getting her trained to go to the door when she needs to go out, but that only works when I am at home. Rather than have her in a crate all day while I am at work, I chose to use the puppy pads during the day, and she has been really good to only 'go' on those and not my hardwood floor or carpeting. But they can get pricey when you are using a fresh one daily - not to mention the fact that the disposal of them in the trash is not really environmentally friendly. So I looked for an alternative solution and found these reusable dog pee pads. I was pleasantly surprised at how large they are. You can see in one of the pictures that I have compared it to the X-Large disposable pads I had been buying, and I would say that it is at least half-again as large as the disposable. But what really surprised me was how absorbent they are! They have a waterproof backing to keep liquids from damaging the floor underneath, but they felt thinner than I thought would be necessary. But don't let that fool you! I have had one in place now for 3 days! Yes, you read that right - THREE days! I have seen my girl use it several times and yet there is no odor and you cannot tell by looking at it that it has been soiled. Fortunately, the package came with 2 pads, so I will be able to throw this one in the wash and still have one to use. I have never been able to keep a disposable pad down for more than a day - even with the lavender-scented pads, there was a tell-tale odor, and they just weren't absorbent enough to hold much more. Also, I didn't have any problems with getting my dog adjusted to these - I just placed it in the same location as her disposable pad and she took right to it. Do yourself and the environment a favor and try these!

I have an elderly 17 y/o Pomeranian. She’s half deaf and blind - heavy as a rock…She can’t go outside unless I carry her back and forth. I have bone cancer, major back pain and can’t lift her and walk that far and back. So I’ve blocked off an area next to my bed and the wall close her into this 7’ X 4’ area. She has one of those furry bands and loves it (from Amazon) she sleeps a lot, has arthritis and can’t walk well at all. I’m using kennel club brand potty pads (happy w that brand so far - affordable). Easy to swap out. I’ve laid this set of washable pads side by side as a base to protect my carpet, fill the space with her bed, her favorite snuggle bear and monkey and a second pillow she likes. Her food and water bowls fit nicely above the peepee pad on the other end. So far she’s only used the pee pads (thank god). I think I’ve finally got my dilemma solved. I just cant bring myself to put her down, so I’m keeping her comfortable with this set up next to me until God takes her across the rainbow bridge…
