Easy to add and use in Home Assistant
A great little sensor (and it really is small). My Home Assistant installation detected it immediately and setting up motion-triggered automations was very straighforward. Ironically, it was somewhat more involved to add it to Shelley's own Smart Control App but, once included, you're able to adjust the sensor's motion sensitivity and upgrade its firmware. Recommended.

Nice sensor
Good WiFi sensor for use with shelly smart switches, plenty sensitivity, I've also got the blu motion, they are ideal for switching power off in rooms when unoccupied

Item was not new.
Received the item in a plastic bag, not boxed. Was clearly pre-owned. Shelly app could not find it as a new device as it was still configured for the previous owner. Not impressed.

This is a good sensor works well. Only four stars As you need to have premium in the Shelly app to enable some features

These sensors work very well *if* you get good ones.
I've had 4 of them, and two failed within a few weeks with the sensor stuck on detected and needing the battery out to clear. Other people have reported this too, so looks like quality control issues. Shame as Shelly stuff is usually great.

You will need a Bluetooth gateway
If you are not using home assistant then you will need to buy a Bluetooth gateway which acts like a hub. The description for this item is misleading and should be changed as it says no hub required, but it is if you’re not using something like home assistant. 1 star because you misleading people into buying your product.

Not compatible with google/alexa without purchasing a bluetooth gateway.
The product description is midleading, despite saying 'no hub required' and 'compatible with Alexa & Google', to actually connect the product you also need to purchase a bluetooth gateway for an additional £14. This isn't made clear.

Ho acquistato questo Shelly Blu Motion in aggiunta ad altri due kit che ho comprato in precedenza. Questo però, è arrivato con la batteria completamente scarica, o addirittura, non funzionante, perchè non si è mai acceso. Meno male che c'è amazon, ma resta comunque un prodotto consigliatissimo. Se solo Shelly mettesse la classica linguetta che separa i contatti dalle batterie.
