Good for Amigurami crochet projects. These colors are great pastels and neutrals. A few vibrant and unique shades of pink, purple & blue provide balance in this set for lots of projects. It's very soft yarn but the individual strands can separate if you are crocheting. Size 4 mm hook leaves some gaps in the work, but 3.25 mm hook is perfect for this yarn.

I was skeptical ordering yarn on Amazon that I haven't actually seen or felt. Saw this bundle on a forum so gave it a shot! Colors are great and crochets very well!

This yarn is a DK weight and soft. There are 65 yards per mini skein. 20 mini skeins for about $1 each isn't a bad deal. The soft pastel colors are pretty. It can be a bit splitty but so are most cotton yarns if they're not mercerized cotton which this is not. Some colors split more than others. Experienced knitters/crocheters probably won't have much problem with it, beginners who aren't used to working with cotton probably will. I've crocheted quite a few coasters from this yarn, it worked up nicely on a size F Susan Bates hook (3.75mm). Label recommended Crochet Hook: 3-4 mm, recommended Knitting Needle: 4-5 mm (US 6-8). Butterfly made with smaller hook size E which worked well. I'm also going to use it for amigurumi and expect it will be perfect for that. Overall I would recommend this yarn when it's on sale and I would buy it again after I use up the 2 bags I purchased.

I love the variety of colors and it is soft. I misread and was expecting 50grams lol. They are teeny baby skeins. I’ll probably make socks.

I really wanted to love this yarn because of the price, the weight, the 100% cottonness of it. I was not disappointed on those counts. It's soft, has a nice feel, and is perfect for what I wanted: small amounts of lots of colors of a lighter weight cotton yarn for a class at the upcoming CGOA conference.However, I only gave it three stars because it is so very loosely plied. The minute I began to crochet, the strand separated into its several individual strands, which you should be able to see in the first picture. It required paying much closer attention to work with it successfully and avoid splitting. I then tried a bullion stitch (2nd picture, yarn wrapped 5 times) and it was definitely more difficult by the separation of the plies. With close attention, though, I was able to make bullions. So, I think this will still be okay for the purpose I originally envisioned, but I think beginning crocheters should probably avoid this yarn.I have not tried knitting with it. When/if I do, I will add my experience to this review.

I bought this along with a 5 pack of ecru to crochet a bathing suit coverup that’s composed of individual flowers. I’m using the colors for the insides of the flowers and the ecru for the outer edges. This package is perfect for this kind of project. I will be able to use a variety of colors without having to spend a ton of money (and it’s not that easy to purchase cotton yarn in a variety of colors).The yarn itself is soft and pretty easy to work with. It unravels a little bit more than I would like, but it’s not a huge problem. I wish this came in a variety pack with another 20 colors. I always see beautiful projects online that use multiple shades of every color in the rainbow, but I’ve yet to find a wide variety of yarn colors.

This was a great purchase to test a few colors and see if I like them. I'm happy with the gentle yet consistent colors - not too bold. The cotton is also pleasant and soft. Except for the green, all of the yarn in the photos comes from this set. So far (4 months) the keychain has survived me throwing around the backpack, so I'd say the material is holding up well. As you can see I'm a beginner and I haven't had any issues.

Really nice cotton. Beautiful color mix. Using for a punch needle embroidery project and it's just the perfect weight, thicker than embroidery thread but not as heavy as wool. Project is peach blossoms and the perfect colors are all here.
