It's a really nice kit, but "Clicker for 18 SLX 150/151 Metanium DC" UPC 799050987736 does not fit a Tanx 201. The clicker does is too small for the main gear and just slides around instead of sitting snugly inside it. Sad to have to return this, but if there is one that fits the 201, I'm down to buy again....

Clicker gear was tricky to install I tried a vise because it was so tight but I ended up bending the gear a bit. I got it in eventually and used a flat head and a mallet to tap it straight. Sounds great. I would put the clicker spring in both ways and see what way you like it. Mine was miss labeled and was much louder putting it in backward for the opposite hand retrieve. works great I’m happy with it.

The main gear is way too small for the clicker ring. I tried getting it in unsuccessfully by trying to smash it in with my hand at first then, I lightly tried to use a vise grip but, that essentially bent the clicker ring so, it was basically useless. If you have successfully got the ring in on this same model, please let me know how you did it. I’m thinking of buying another kit and taking it to a machine shop to have it pressed in. As far as the quality of the items in the kit, they are solid! I just don’t know how the get the ring in, without damaging it or warping the ring.

I like how easy it is to install only one drawback the clicking sound isn’t as loud as they show in the video it could be just the model of my reel. Other than that it is amazing with the feedback you can feel it vibrating inside when line is coming out and it will really help with controlling the fish in the end of your line. If anything breaks I will update my review based on if or how it broke after more time of just fishing with it.

I saw someone on YouTube with a click drag on their brand new Shimano 23 SLX DC that hadn't been out for very long but this beautiful kit came along! It includes everything that you will need to get click drag with your DC reel. High quality components with a metal case. The kit doesn't require you to do any crazy modifications to your reel but I would recommend watching a video while you disassemble/reassemble your reel as there are a lot of components to remove to get to the drag mechanism.

I've tried other aftermarket clicker add-ons before on the older Metaniums which I purchased from Ali. They cost just as much as this SIGMATOOLS brand but not even close to the quality. Also, those other brands from overseas required minor modifications to the gears and gluing was necessary. This kit does NOT require either. It is straight drop in. I took me about 30 minutes, if that, to install this in my Metanium. Now, my Metanium's drag clicks like my Alderbaron and Excense DC reels. This is an aftermarket you should not pass up.
