Jak II: Renegade (PS2)

Thought id treat myself to this nostalgec peice of history which in my own opinion is one of the best games on the ps2, everything about this game is amazing and throughly enjoyed completling it ( a feat i couldnt accomplish as a child).10/10

I always enjoy Jak & Dax games, in fact sometimes they can be more challenging than the older age group games, just wish there more in the series...Brilliant Games & the graphics are great too.

Good fun to play and my husband loves it.

A hard game and only slightly less better than Jak 1 (Jak and Daxter) but still better than Jak 3 and a great game.

I bought Jak 2 especially after I completed Jak and Daxter and because I loved the story. At first, because of the title"Jak 2 instead of "Jak and Daxter 2", I thought that Daxter wouldn't play a big role in this story. I think that this game is a "BUY IT NOW!". It has a great storyline, amazing graphics and incredible weapons and powers. It all starts when Jak, Daxter, Kiera and Samos discover a precursor ring that accidentally takes them into the future where they are separated from each other. Jak is captured by a group of Krimzon Guards and taken to a lab, where the leader of the guards, Baron Praxis, and his partner, Erol, are experimenting on him by pumping him up with dark eco. It is two years later when Daxter, while Praxis and Erol aren't around, breaks into the lab and frees Jak, who can now talk and tranform into a "Dark Jak" when angered. Jak wants revenge on Praxis, so they explore the city (Haven City) and meet an old man (Kor) and a small boy, and many new friends, like Torn, Krew, Sig, Vin, Ashelin, Onin, Brutter, and The Shadow (an older version of Samos). Jak and Daxter learn that these people are forming a secret war against Praxis, and that Praxis himself is having a hard time ruling Having City, because the Metal Head army needs eco, and if Praxis doesn't come up with the eco, they will attack. Jak and Daxter join the secret underground forces and meet with Torn (an ex-krimson guard), then Krew, who is later revealed as a traitor, and eventually meet up with Kiera and Samos (who always argues with the Shadow), and embark on many adventures, which involves facing Erol in a race and Erol getting himself killed, facing Praxis three times, destroying metal head eggs, defeating Krew and rescuing Sig from Krew's trap (with Sig falling down a chasm with a giant metal head and seemingly dying), rescuing reformed lurkers and taking them to Brutter, rescuing Vin from the quarry, saving Ashelin (Praxis' daughter) from the metal heads, meeting Onin with Daxter not getting on well with Onin's parrot, and many more adventures that come down to a final showdown with the ruthless metal head leader (Kor was the metal head leader with an old man disguise)who kills Praxis. As Praxis dies, he gives Jak control of the second bomb he had made, "You are the supreme weapon, Jak. And I made you. Remember, the trick to making a bomb is to always make two." Praxis' last words. You'll have to buy the game to find out what happens next.I hope they make another sequel.

This just what I need for a small presy for son-in-law, I'm more than happy with product.

Jak II is awesome, hard as hell but still one of the greats on the ps2. The only reason for the 1 star is that I got the Jak II case with Fifa 08 inside. I know mistakes happen but checking the correct disc is inside the corresponding case should be pretty common practice in the trade of pre-owned video games.Have decided to keep the Fifa disc as the in-laws' youngest likes a bit of football so we can probably two-player when they're over, have ordered Jak II from elsewhere with hopefully a bit more luck. I bought another game from the same seller and I had no issues with that one, this was just a bit of bad luck methinks. Was only a couple of quid, so no real harm done!

only worked for a while then screen went black and no longer played son very disappointed.(son is 11yrs) seems to happen a lot with this game.

Gioco che fa parte della mia adolescenza. Sono riuscito ha trovarlo nuovo, nonostante fosse abbastanza datato essendo di circa quindici anni fa. Consiglio anche il terzo capitolo della saga

Habe mir das Spiel damals nochmals gekauft, da meine alte CD leider zu viele Kratzer hatte. Allerdings habe ich mich hier auf den gebrauchten Zustand beschränkt. Nach dem Erhalt war ich mehr als positiv überrascht. Denn die CD war komplett ohne Kratzer und in einem Top Zustand, den ich von gebrauchten CD bis dahin nicht kannte.
