Bought this to compliment my NV on my crossbow so I didn’t have to keep raising my bow to see what is going on. Best thing is this unit has a nice size built in rechargeable battery. Units like this chew up AA batteries quickly, so no worries there. As far as viewing, it has a nice picture, plenty for my uses inside of 100 yds. Cannot comment beyond that distance as I haven’t really tried it out. Controls are like everything electronic, they become intuitive the more you use it.

The goggles are great for night photography and the different levels of IR are a very helpful feature. The battery lasts a long time, as I’ve had videos running for a few hours straight without depleting it. Having the option to charge via USB C is very convenient. I must, however, report that THESE DO NOT TAKE 4K VIDEOS! When in 4K mode, videos are produced with a resolution of 2048 X 1152. That is 2K, not 4K.

I can see a more magnified picture with my iPhone. Only magnifies 5x which is nothing. also, The image screen has to be 2-3 inches away from your face to see lighting it up. in addition, it is Lightweight and fragile. Zoom is not great. it is hard to use, and the buttons are invisible, black on black. I won't recommend it to others.

I first thought this was going to be very useful for my new year camping trip that's been planned for a long time. It came nicely packed in a gift box with all the accessories. I actually didn't realize it can record videos and take photos until I open up the box and saw the included memory card. Since my camping isn't up for another 2 weeks or so I just couldn't wait but find the darkest place in my home so I headed to my bathroom. I took a pic of my perfume bottle with my phone, one with light on and one with lights off (it actually was dead dark in person but my phone takes good photos in the dark) to show what i was trying to see through this binoculars. The result was amazing as you can see in the pic! I just cant wait for my actually camping so i can use it in the wild. This is a great device for any outdoor activities!
