I love the quality of this herb. Open the lid and you can smell the quality. I use basil on lots of different things and having a quantity on hand is a plus.

This basil is fresh, aromatic, and adds great flavor to sauces, soups, and homemade pesto. The giant 1.5 lb. jar is a fantastic value if you cook often or like stocking up. I’ve been using it for pasta, garlic bread, and seasoning veggies — the quality is definitely there. Just know it’s a lot of basil, so make sure you’ve got storage space or plan to share with friends or family. Overall, a solid buy for home cooks and food lovers.

The container was cracked and some off the pickle spices came out in the packaging. Not sure if I should use it or return this item
