WORKPRO Magnetic Socket Organizer, Heavy Duty 1/2-Inch Drive Socket Rail

I picked this up to replace the plastic socket holder that my sockets originally came in, and I'm glad I did. This socket organizer looks nice, feels well made, and seems a lot sturdier than the plastic tray it replaced. The aluminum construction gives it a solid feel, and the magnetic base is a nice feature for keeping everything where it belongs. My sockets fit well and are much easier to organize and access now. The plastic holder that came with my sockets always felt flimsy and looked like it wouldn't last very long. This WORKPRO holder seems like a much better long-term solution and should hold up a lot better in the garage. Overall, it's a simple product that does its job well. If you're tired of cheap plastic socket organizers, this is a nice upgrade.

Great product, holds sockets firmly and has magnetic backs to stick to tool box or metal surfaces. Anodized finish is nice.

I really like these for sockets that cannot fit on rails. I’ve used these for my wobble sockets, torx sockets, tap sockets, etc.. . They are made of metal and are pretty sturdy. The only gripe that I’ve got is the magnet on the bottom could be a little stronger. I’ve only noticed it being an issue with the 1/2” sockets(interchanged a 1/2” socket holder). With the 1/2” one it will tend to lift the entire rail when I try to take the socket off. Otherwise the magnets are great and work well. Definitely worth it.

Ok system but not long enough. I got the 1/2 drive for a couple sets of deep impact sockets, American and metric. The rail has ten holders or pegs attached for ten sockets. My socket sets has 11 sockets each. Ah, but they have additional pegs I can buy for the extra sockets. Wait, the rail is only long enough for ten pegs so even if I bought extra pegs, no room on the rail to put one on for the last socket. I like the red color, and the magnets are very strong for holding the rail to the metal tool box or even to the metal lift or undercarriage of a vehicle you’re working on. If you only have 10 sockets in your set, I’d recommend these. I’m keeping mine. I would give it four and a half stars if they gave that choice. Not a five star but a little better than a solid four star. Good value for the price.

So far these things are pretty sweet. I placed a big order of 70 of them total. Next day had 62 of them. Re doing my whole set up at home. Sockets lock on them good and magnets are nice and strong. Will post pictures when I get everything done and re organized, but as of right now these things were worth it to me. All sockets fit great.

I experimented with all kinds of socket organizers and these are what I eventually settled on. I wanted them to be as compact as possible to save room, and also have the versatility to add more or move things around as needed. In that regard, nothing was as good as these imo. Toolbox widgets might come close, but they're always out of stock and are simply way too expensive. Magnets on these are also very strong, which is the problem I had with similar but lower-priced options.. you'd pull on a socket and the whole rail would lift up, not with these.

This is a great socket organizer. I love the magnets on the bottom of the rail. It holds securely in my tool box even with the mat on the bottom. I want to replace all my socket organizers now.

Definitely helps keeps things organized while reducing clutter and they are well built. Adding and removing socket holders are easy. Just remove a single screw, slide off the end, add or remove socket holders, slip the end back on and fasten the screw back in. I especially like the lighter blue color which looks great in my drawer and makes it easy to see. The magnets are strong enough to hold most of my heaviest sockets. My heaviest sockets (33mm-38mm) if all one row will slide down the chest. Other than that they are great.
