I was expecting a layered skirt with some volume. What I got was basically a plain skirt with only one layer of tulle all the same length.

Color and quality was great for the price

I bought this tulle skirt as part of an outfit for my 40th birthday. I'm short (5'2") and the liner underneath the tulle is pretty short, so I wore black shorts underneath the skirt because sitting down would mean the lining fabric pulling up too far. Maybe if you're tall and skinny it wouldn't do that?The tulle itself was pretty and comfortable on the whole. I'm a textile person in the yarn industry and find myself to be really picky about fabric quality. Tulle can be stiff, harsh, and scratchy sometimes, but this skirt was nice and soft and drapey, so I was really pleased with how it felt against my skin.I just wish it had pockets of some sort, because I found myself wishing I could throw my phone in one while I was out and about sightseeing for my big day.
