YETI Rambler 26 oz Straw Cup, Vacuum Insulated, Stainless Steel with Straw Lid, High Desert Clay

Pros: I love the color choices. The SS and the powder coating isn't slick, so it seems very sturdy and protective.Cons: I thought I'd really like the straw feature but it's TOO BIG for comfortably drinking. Plus it's straight and not bent, so I must drink thru it facing down toward the lid which doesn't work when I want to take my supplements and/or Rx pills. It's 26 oz but I liked the no-handle version, thinking the narrowing in the bottom would allow me to hold it securely against the slope of the tumbler, but it doesn't "indent" enough and it IS big around for my hands so with liquid inside, I need to hold it from the bottom. Not convenient either.I really think this could be solved by a long narrower straw with a bend in it which would still be washable with a good straw brush. As I purchased this for drinking water during the day and didn't really intend on taking it in the car with me, I figured the larger size wouldn't be a problem. It is.TO make matters worse, I have searched all over Yeti's site on Amazon and searched Q&A looking for replacement lids with the slider for a 26oz Yeti and all the lids mention every other darn size BUT the 26 oz. Since there ARE different sizes for all the various Yetis, this has been difficult - not to mention Amazon listing ALL other off brand replacements which are even farther from OEM than I am looking for. Amazon: just give me what I am SEARCHING FOR, not all the off brands first. And note to Yeti: please update your sizing and descriptions for lids for the customer. Better yet, offer a narrower straw choice with a slight bend in it for these larger tumblers. Geez.

I have had a few different types of insulated drinkware. All good; none of them bad but I got this one today and was surprised it's heavier than expected. Well made and not cheap which I would expect from YETI. The high desert clay is beautiful. I'm surprised you can wash it in the dishwasher....all others tell you no dishwasher or it will lose it's insulating ability. So worth this cyber deal price. I think I'll get another one!!

This was purchased as a gift. Yeti products are well made.The seller could have added more protection in the shipping box.
