My wife inherited a bunch of her mother's jewelry s I got this for her to clean them all up. Its super simple to use, so simple I was worried - just add enough water to cover the item, set a duration, and let it do its thing. We used distilled water, but I'm unsure if it makes a difference. The first 10 seconds of everything we did was hilarious as a cloud of dirty water would just float off, but it was boring after that, with most things being as cleaned as they would get - within that first 30 seconds. with that said diamonds came out extra shiny, just like at the store (they use the same tech), and it did a GREAT job removing dirt and grime from necklaces with real small chains that trapped some of the dirt - those practically changed color. Highly recommend.

It works great with just water, but to give your items more shine gets the "Gem & Jewelry Cleaner. Save your money without going to the Jewelry Store for cleansing because it adds up!!!

Works on rings, necklaces, and waterproof watches. I didn't realize how much dirt was on them. Totally changed the look on my silver pieces.

Easy to use and clean. It is quiet. Big enough to clean glasses. Works well on jewelry and glasses.

The media could not be loaded.  This nifty little ultrasonic jewelry cleaner does a good job of cleaning my eyeglasses, small jewelry and even Legos. It’s quite small though so it will only hold small trinkets and knickknacks.The removable basket measures about 6 inches long and 5 inches on the wide part and about 2inches in height. For bulky stuffs, there’s not a lot of room but for small pieces of jewelry, it’s perfectly sized. I like that I can control how long it will clean and the buttons and the screen are easy to see and operate.As you can see in one of my pics, the basket can accommodate a child sized eyeglasses and another adult-sized yet slim glasses. But you can also place one adult-sized glasses with wide lenses as long as you can you fold it flat so you can close the cover. I guess, you can also leave the cover open if the thing you want cleaned is a bit bulky. But it kind of defeats the purpose of ultrasonic cleaning if you just submerge part of it in water.Anyway, I used distilled water when I use this thing even though the instructions said you can use just plain water, which I assumed is tap water. Our tap water is hard and it leaves water residue on stainless steel over time so I tend to err on the side of caution to save myself from having to remove difficult stain on the inside surface of this cleaner. Also, the instructions didn’t mention anything about being able to use a liquid jewelry cleaner made for ultrasonic machines but I’ll try that for when I get one and do a deep clean of my jewelry. I’ll update my review then.All in all, it does the job. It’s on the small side, it’s a bit bulky but it works for my needs like quick eyeglasses cleaning and occasional jewelry cleaning. And sometimes, Lego cleaning.

I got this for both my wife and teenage daughter who have multiple jewelry items. For my wife's wedding ring in particular, she always used jewelry cleaner liquid and a toothbrush. This got the job done for the most part, but using this ultrasonic cleaner provides a MUC MORE thorough cleaning. Looked brand new. Have used on multiple jewelry items with success, along with a couple of glasses. Very easy to use and would recommend.
