Allbirds Women’s Tree Runner, Everyday Sneakers, Machine Washable Shoe Made with Natural Materials

Breathable and comfortable even without socks. Easy to slip in and out. Very light. Perfect for everyday use. But they support feet less compared to sneakers, so they are not for a long distance or strenuous hiking, but better than most sandals.

Beautiful shoes but I need additional support for my ankles, so I got Allbirds Tree Dasher 2, and they provide the extra support. They have a small cushioned bumper for the ankle, and a broader heel for more stability. If I didn’t need more ankle support, the Tree Runner style would’ve been perfect.

I have a bunion and deal with daily foot pain. These shoes are a real help to me. I am 15 years into my career as a teacher, which requires that I’m on my feet most of the day. I haven’t tried these for athletic use, but I can attest to their comfort through the work day. I find myself reaching for them and planning outfits around them at least a couple days a week! They wash well in the washing machine. As far as fit, the toe box is wide enough to accommodate my bunion and prevent toe squishing for most people. The heel is snug and doesn’t allow for annoying slippage over time. The mesh-like tops cause you to see your toes’ outline, so that’s a little weird to get used to. I like the overall lightness of the shoe. The soles are pillowy soft and extremely supportive. Even the grommets and laces are well-made. I do wish these were a bit less expensive, but I think these shoes are truly great shoes. If they can keep me from being any grumpier by sixth period, I’d say they’re a good investment. I will make sure that Santa brings me some in another color for Christmas. : )

These are comfortable and high-quality shoes. But if you are after making a fashion statement, these are not the right ones for you. They are too wide (maybe that is why they are comfortable) and look like my grandmother's shoes. I usually wear a 7.5, but based on the reviews, I ordered an 8. The length of the shoes feels correct. I don't believe I could've gone with 7. But it was so wide that I thought they had sent me a wide size rather than the standard size, mainly because on the box, it said W8. Later, I found out that W was for "women," and this was their standard size. If you are primarily after comfort, these are good walking shoes.

The shoes are very nice. They would be comfortable and appear to be well made. Unfortunately the fit was no right for me. I took the advice I saw in comments and ordered up a size but they were too long. I think my regular size would be too short. It's too bad they don't offer half sizes.

These are awesome, comfortable-all-day shoes. They are machine washable, just remove the inner sole and wash shoes and inner soles in the washing machine. Use a Magic Eraser on the sole if needed, and I let them air dry. They come out looking new. I like that they are made with natural fibers. I would definitely buy again--already have in other colors. Though I'm an elderly customer, my young granddaughter wears these and loves them and she introduced me to this brand. I feel no foot pain, and much more balanced and stable on my feet in these.

These Allbirds Tree Runners have exceeded my expectations for both comfort and environmental consciousness, feeling incredibly soft and breathable from day one without any break-in period. The eucalyptus tree fiber material is genuinely unique - it stays cool and odor-resistant even after long days of wear, and knowing they're made from sustainable materials makes me feel good about the purchase. The minimalist design is versatile enough to work with everything from workout gear to casual dresses, and the cushioned sole provides excellent support for walking or standing all day. While they're definitely pricier than typical sneakers, the quality construction and innovative materials justify the cost, plus they're machine washable which adds to their practicality. The only downside is they're not ideal for heavy rain or muddy conditions, but for everyday casual wear, they're absolutely fantastic and have become my most-reached-for shoes.

Excellent brand. I bought these for my girlfriend. I use them 3 years and have 3 pairs. Would advise to buy several so they’ll last longer. You can easy wash them in the washing machine. Would place them in a laundry bag first though

Bought these shoes for my wife. She loves them. She has always had trouble finding ahows that are comfortable for her to wear. She says that they are extremely comfortable and they have become her go to shoes when she needs something casual to wear with her jeans.

Sizing is slightly larger than an in store purchase of the same style of shoe. Still very comfortable.

Awaiting refund . Too big . Cost $28 to mail return. Love the brand though.
