Datatiol Evo
Package arrived on time and welll packaged. Datatool Evo easy to install, just two wires as a minimum. Alarm works well and as yet no false alarms. I keeo the bike on a battery maintainer so was concerned with the battery voltage chamging this may set the alarm off. No need to have worried as the alarm works perfectly in conjunction with the battery maintainer.

Great alarm but
Got the alarm and unbound it and it looks like i have received a returned item as my alarm is missing the datatool logo on unit and some stickers were missing reading another buyers review has had the same dont get why amazon are reselling them at full price after been opened and used then returned with stiff missing in box luckily the alarm works and wasn't returned for been faulty Alarm didn't go off when installing like advertised and didn't go off when connecting trickle charger connection was easy drilled 8mm hole for led flashing light there is alot of wiring so can hide the alarm well around your bike in a good hiding spot alot of settings tilt sensor levels and arming and disarming curps no seat sensor with his alarm but can buy from datatool website The disarming the alarm or arming it and starting your bike within 30 seconds or the alarm will go off with the current fluctuation didn't happen to me don't know if it's set up but time will tell on battery life if it drains if or not

Easy to install and connect.
Dead easy to install but use your imagination. Obvious place is under the seat but I found a little cranny to hide it away. Did not use the LED light as what is the point of warning thiefs that you have an alarm. This is just part of a layer for security. When at home it is secured via a monster chain and lock to two one hundred pound weights. Disc lock to the rear. Alarm disc lock at the front. Honda Hiss and now this Evo alarm. When away from home the same with the obvious exception of the chain and weights.

Easy fit
Easy to fit. The unit was a bit bigger than I thought but I managed to find a space for it. I added the seat switch and that has meant the security of the bike is much better. As part of layered security it’s well worth it and much cheaper than the manufacturers alarm. Loud siren too.

Overpriced?
Not sure about this, it was easy to fit no problem there it just feels cheap, I know it is one of Datatools cheaper options but I don’t see the advantage over the cheap eBay one I had on before that was £100 cheaper. It doesn’t seem very sensitive either, pretty sure I could break the seat off and cut the wire to disarm it without setting the alarm off. Feel a bit ripped off to be honest, doesn’t even have the flashing indicators that my £15 eBay special had 😂

Works
So far so good, works as described (not tested in real world scenarios thankfully). Alarm doesn't activate until taken off stand. Installed on 790 adventure
