Runs Large, Heavyweight for Colder Weather
I ordered the Solid Caramel. It looks more like a Burnt Orange & I love the color! It's also thick, chunky, and heavyweight which is perfect for warmer Fall days, when you don't want to wear a jacket, and for the coldest winter days when even a coat is needed. Based on the size chart, I would normally have ordered an XL. However; based on the description that it's oversized and the reviews that stated it runs big & the sleeves are long, I ordered a size down. It fit comfortably loose & roomy enough to wear a layer under it. The sleeves were so long that I had to fold the back the width of my hands in order to have the full, functional use of my hands. Like others have commented, I'm not totally sold on the shoulder detail; however, the features I like, and the compliments I received, outweighed how I felt about the shoulders and, as the day wore on, they became less noticeable to me to the point I actually don't think they look bad. Threw in the washer on casual setting in cool water & the dryer on low heat with a load of like color & weight clothing. Held up well & looks good. The stitching and construction are of a quality that matches, maybe even exceeds, the price point.

Lovely, not scratchy, very warm!
This sweater is soft and heavy, quite comfortable but I will only be able to wear it in the dead of winter because I get overheated easily. Someone who tends to be cold will love it fall, winter, and spring. The color is a rich deep blue, leaning more toward a deep sapphire than a navy. I washed and dried it according to the instructions. It didn't shrink, wrinkle, or stretch in odd shapes - it looked the same after washing and drying as before. That is exciting because I don't have time to handwash and dry a heavy sweater! It will look great with jeans or a pretty skirt. Glad to have this classic in my wardrobe.

Interesting sweater, don't size up unless your shoulders are broad
I like this sweater well enough. It looks chunky but is soft and thin enough to partially tuck into jeans in the front. The color is a pretty shade, although not as deep and rich as the pictures show. The sleeves are generously long and cover my wrists well. The only thing I did not expect was that the shoulder embellishment on the sleeves hits in a strange place. Its like the sleeves are a drop sleeve so the knitted bumps sit at a 45 degree angle across my mid biceps. I have narrow shoulders, and I think if my shoulders were average or better yet wide in width, this would not happen. Also, going a size down woud probably have been a good idea. Thats what happens when you get stuff online though, you;re always guessing to some degree.I looked at the other reveiwers pictures and I can see that the shoulder poufs do sit where they are supposed to when the fit is more snug. So if you're torn between 2 sizes, I would say go for the smaller one because the weave of the sweater is flexible enough that theres a little stretch. Good luck with your shopping adverture, and go dazzle the office party in your new christmas sweater
