If you use these, or any other pedal couplers, one of two things will eventually happen:1. The coupler will break.2. Your pedal(s) will break.The reason for this is that the sidewall of any pedal where the jack plugs in are not perfectly straight (not at a perfect 90 degree angle from the base), so when you attach another pedal to it one of them will not sit flat, no matter what you try it will be lifted off the floor slightly on the other side where the coupler is not connected. Furthermore, stepping on either of the pedals will induce unnecessary stress on both pedals due to the coupler connection.Using patch cables eliminates all of these problems. You really want to isolate movement of each pedal from the others, not put a hard link between them so that when you apply force to one pedal it applies force to the rest that are connected with a coupler.Watch CSGuitars video titled "These DESTROY Pedal | Why Solid Couplers Are The Devil's Work" as he explains all of these things with actual demonstration so you can see for yourself what I am talking about.The manufacturer should not make this product as its normal use will guarantee to break either the coupler or your pedal.I just wish I would have learned this before I bought them...

So I got these and replaced the stringy patch cables I originally bought. yeah, as far as tidiness goes these work well, especially without the use of a pedal board. They connect very well and offer no noise loss, or gain for that matter.
