High quality and easy to use security camera
Overall I'm very impressed with this camera. There are many great feature's and aspects I found to be impressive for the money.* I love the quality of the image, it's easy to make out faces and see vehicles.*Free 10 seconds of cloud recording or you can use an internal micro SD card.* Camera can be used wirelessly and depending on battery settings it appears it could last 2-3 months or more without charging.*Unlike some other camera the audio is clear to listen to and it's clear when speaking through.* Motion alerts are timely (1-3 seconds after detecting it sends an alert)*Easy setup and instructions.*Good quality infared night vision. The only thing I would like to see in the future on this device is a "privacy" mode added to the software to black out the camera temporarily.Overall I give this camera a very positive rating. Customer service is absolutely fantastic as well so you can't go wrong with it.

Great protection at modest cost
After buying the Eversecu motion light for my front entrance I thought I would go the extra step and add a camera. This small unit with its abundant features looked to be a good option. After receiving and installing it I am pleased to find that it lives up to its many positive reviews.Installation was a breeze, the only negative being that they forgot to enclose any screws for the base. No problem, I have a supply of many sizes. Being so small it is easy to find an unobtrusive location to install the camera. The viewing angle is generous and the quality of the picture is fine. The O-Kam app is intuitive and makes connecting and setting up the camera quite easy. However, like any piece of software, it has a learning curve and takes some time to understand exactly how each feature works. The instruction sheet that comes with the unit is comprehensive, however, and gives you the basics to start you off. At first I didn’t install a flash card. I mistakenly thought that the “three days” of cloud storage meant that you always had memory of the most recent three days of camera activity, but that anything before then would not be kept. Not so. What it means is that from installation of the camera you have three days to see how the cloud storage works, but then it turns off unless you opt for a subscription. Without a subscription you must have a card installed in order to preserve your recordings beyond the three days. But cards are cheap. I was hoping that the sensitivity of the motion detection would be a bit better. At the “far” setting it detects an approaching person from about 30 ft.. This is adequate for my needs, but I have a large front lawn and earlier detection would be even better.I am still learning how to use all the features of the camera and which of them are most suitable to my needs. The O-Kam app will accommodate multiple cameras and I plan to get at least one more to monitor the back of my property. Given the reasonable cost of the Eversecu B8 the security provided is well worth the modest investment.CORRECTION: After a week of use I find that there is 3 days of cloud storage that continues to update to include the immediate past 3 days. This did not seem apparent when I first installed the unit. However, it is still advisable to install a memory card in order to preserve activity history.

Well built and superb image quality.
This is a good camera. The first thing you will notice when you take it out of the box is that everything is sturdy and very well-built. The image quality is superb in both day and night-vision modes. Motion detection works well and has adjustable sensitivity. Out of the box, it includes everything you need to get it quickly up and running. Even includes wall anchors (if needed) and templates for drilling mounting holes. A nice plus is that it also includes an extension for the solar panel just in case you need to mount it farther from the camera. The instruction manual is fairly well-written and setup is easy. It did take me some time to get get it going, but that was because I did not give the app the necessary permissions during set-up. Like most, it's a 2.4 GHz camera, so take that into consideration when setting it up.The app is available for both Android and IOS. I used the Android version. It's very similar to most other camera apps and covers all the available options and use-case scenarios. The app seems to be dedicated to this camera. It would have been nice if it worked with other EVERSECU apps to avoid the need to have multiple apps and accounts on your phone/tablet.The only negatives I can see with this camera is that it has an easily-to-see power switch, so if you creep up from behind (and you can reach the camera, of course) you can turn it off. Also, like many (most?) other solar panel-operated cameras, it is not ONVIF compatible. There is also no PC app available...but I can overlook that when I take the low price and overall quality of the camera into consideration.I have this camera installed in a location where I just cannot use a wired camera without jumping through hoops. It checks all the boxes so it fits my need perfectly and, if it is as good as my other EVERSECU cameras, it should serve me well for a long time.
