The ROMADEDI candle holders arrive in a neat small cardboard box with each holder wrapped in bubblewrap. The first thing I noticed was the very light weight of the six candle holders. It would be easy to presume that they are made from plastic but actually it's a thin metal alloy - so it's lightweight but very sturdy. Unwrapping a candle holder revealed that they are a very nice subtle shade of gold, with a rich lustrous finish. Very attractive indeed.We do not use real candles in our home, the safety issues are too great for us and we are more than happy with LED candles which have improved vastly over recent years. I would say that, although these candle holders have a generously proportioned base, they are so lightweight that if anyone is considering using real flame candles then be aware of how lightweight the holders are, which might be easily knocked. Personally I would not use real candles, but obviously it's a personal decision.We have some tall traditionally shaped LED candles and they fitted perfectly into the standard 2.2cm diameter holder hole.We love the colour and the 'classic' style of these candle holders and they will look very good in a couple of our rooms where we have gold accents as part of the decor.The set of six candle holders retail for around £20 and I think that they look every inch to be worth that, as they look far more expensive to me. So I am lighting up (with LEDs!!) 5 glowing golden stars for the ROMADEDI candle holders.
