Absolutely a game changer when starting seeds indoors! Easy to set up, use and maintain. Almost all of my seeds germinated!

Awesome little setup. They are the right size for expanding your starter garden. The lights are great to have and the humidity done traps what you need. We had 100% germination rates with 8/10 of our crops and once they started they grew fast without getting leggy. They also stood up to my toddler getting after them. Great little kit that I’m happy to use next year.

The seed starter worked fine for about a month, and now the lights have already stopped working. It stopped working when I started my second tray and using all the lights for 1 day, I had only used one tray up until this weekend. I am really disappointed in this setup. The material and trays themselves seem like they would work for a long time to come but I should have just bought the cheap trays from Walmart if the lights were going to not even last the first growing seed season. My lights are stuck in some dull barely on mode that will not turn off and only stops if you unplug it from the wall. Tried to try and reach out for product support and it is only a drop down option with generic help, not actually talking to the supplier to get any actual support.

Now that I have been using these for about 4 weeks, I think I finally have my opinion. Lets start with things I love. I love that these trays are designed with the lights, lid and cells together. Its a great value. I purchased 4 and so far I've started leeks, spring onions, cilantro, basil, chives, romaine lettuce and spinach. Easy to use and love that it comes with various tools, labels and more inside. Love the timing setting, it comes in 3 different options, you can dim the light or increase it. I really like that feature. I also like the sliding hole opener thingys - its good to be able to let some of the humidity out. So far, my herbs and lettuces are doing great but the chives and leeks are VERY leggy and I think the light doesn't quite cover every cell evenly. The seeds on the edge of the container are not doing well but the ones directly under the light are thriving and strong. I am going to order an additional light to angle it on the sides. I believe the tray has 40 cells , so only about half of those are getting good light. Discalimer, I am a first time grower, so its very possible my seeds are leggy because of error, but judging by how my plants are reaching for the light toward the middle of the tray, I don't know for sure.

Pretty nice for the cost and I did just purchase another set. Only negative I have found is that the outer cells can get a little too wet with the humidity dome on from the water droplets running back down the sides. Would be 5 stars if each light could be turned on and off individually rather than in sets of two.

I bought this early spring time and started my seeds. This worked great. Every single seed sprouted and is now in pots and growing nicely outside. The light system was effective, the hard plastic dome held in moisture perfectly. The product itself is very sturdy and I’m sure I will be able to use this for years to come to start my seeds. I was able to grow ALOT of different plants, lots of space.
