ClairolNice'n Easy Crème, Natural Looking Oil Infused Permanent Hair Dye, 5G Medium Golden Brown

I bought the light ash brown. I’ve been looking for a hair dye to make my hair go it’s natural colour for years. Some are way too dark and all, seem to leave it with red or orange undertones that clearly show it’s dyed. I have medium brown hair naturally. Then I tried this. It’s fantastic! Easy to apply, doesn’t stain your head and my hair looks like it did before I ever started dying it, not artificially coloured at all. It’s covered my greys and has no red/orange undertones at all. Even an expensive hair salon I used were unable to do this. It’s just a normal natural brown. One thing to note though, I used the light ash brown which went to my desired colour of a nice medium brown, I wouldn’t want it any darker. Therefore I think these dyes do come out darker than expected so I’d try light ash before the medium ash if unsure. My hair was left in silky condition afterwards. Cheaper than the hair salon too!

Was very skeptical about using a home dye as my hair is very thick and I was pretty sure I’d mess it up. I used 2 boxes (should have bought 3) on my hair, followed the instructions and the end result was pleasantly surprising. There were a few patches of hair I missed (at the back) so I bought another box and touched it up a few days later. Usually when u get my hair coloured at the hairdressers they can never cover all of my greys, this covered every single grey. So from now on I’ll be using this as it’s better coverage and soooo much cheaper than the salon 🙌🏻 PS, my hair is still damp in my after photo I have posted, so the colour is slightly lighter. I’ll post another photo soon!

Pros:This product is so simple to use. It works in 25 minutes, plus when rinsing out the colour after application, it does so very quickly. It left my hair soft, shiny, and feeling and looking the best it has in a very long time. The only complaint that I have, is that the Medium Reddish Brown shade, turned my mid brown hair, BLACK with a burgundy tint!!! I had to order a lighter shade, plus I have had to purchase from elsewhere, a Hair Colour Remover. I look dreadful, and I am having to wear a beanie hat whenever I go out, until the other products arrive, because the black burgundy shade looks that bad on me. Be warned.***Update. Since I coloured my hair it has gradually changed colour, & the condition is dreadful. The tones in my hair colour are now a mixture of black, brown, red and burgundy! I will never use this product ever again! ***

I love this colour. I took advise and bought a shade that was lighter than the colour I wanted my hair to turn out. It worked. It also leaves my hair really soft.

I was very hesitant to use this dye as I haven’t done this at home for a fair few years. I followed the instructions exactly, (20 mins for roots and the. 5 with all hair covered). I absolutely love the results.!I was paying over £100 for my hair before lockdown, I will continue to do this after now! The perfect ginger colour, no strong red undertones. FYI I had medium brown roots before and used 8WR.

This worked so perfectly and went the exact colour that I wanted! I normally get my hair done at the hair dressers but I couldn't afford it whilst on maternity leave. I was planning to just let it be my natural colour until I noticed it was going grey! Before my hair was balaylage with my natural ash blonde at the top and bleached ends and it went this really nice auburn colour all over and is not patchy at all! I bought 3 boxes because I was worried I would run out half way through but I only actually needed one! I will save the other 2 for next time though because I love this colour so I want it like this for a while!

I've never used this brand before so was nervous using it! However! It was amazing! The cream doesn't change colour like most hair dyes and dye your skin, really easy and quick to put only. Rinsed off after 25 mins as it states to. My hair feels gorgeous and soft. The conditioner that comes with it smells devine! And the colour is very beautiful and natural looking, I Will definitely be using this from now on! Very happy 😊

Not bad at all! I have used this brand before and was great. All good still, apart from I am a mucky pup. I got plenty of black all over my skin. Therefore watch when applying this stuff. However, if you put some shampoo on the marks or fairy liquid whole and leave it before you shower it comes off. Got that tip from a hairdresser. Although could have told me earlier- Lol. Oh well will know next time. But Yes, having Brown hair anyway my hair is now Pure Black! Does what it says.Thanks!
