Review: Classic crunch and great value - Grape-Nuts Original Cold Breakfast Cereal has been one of my absolute favorite cereals for a long time, and getting it at this price point makes it an even better buy. Pros: Packed with whole grain goodness, high in fiber, and delivers that signature, hearty crunch that holds up well with milk or yogurt. Cons: It's a dense, heavy cereal, so if you prefer light or sweet flake cereals, it might be an acquired taste. Overall, it's a timeless, nutritious staple that always earns a permanent spot in my pantry—especially at such a great value! Review: Still the same old grape nuts...yum! - I was happy to be able to order this when on sale. The ingredients are pretty much the same quality as they were 20 years ago, though the salt level has increased a bit. The texture when dry is still like gravel, but if you add a tiny bit of water to moisten it, the texture is much more palatable. A side benefit of doing this is picking up a nice malty aroma. It was a wise purchase on my part and an outstanding value. Five stars and highly recommended. ## Features - Includes pack of ten (10), 29 ounce boxes of Grape-Nuts Cereal - WHOLE GRAIN WHEAT & BARLEY NUGGETS: Made with whole grain wheat and barley baked into sweet, uniquely crunchy nuggets that provide exceptional texture and flavor - ADULT BREAKFAST CEREAL: Perfect for adults seeking a high fiber breakfast cereal with crunchy texture to help power busy mornings. - SERVE IT YOUR WAY: Enjoy with cold milk, as a yogurt topping, or as a cereal snack with the crunchy texture Grape Nuts is known for. - TRUSTED WHOLE GRAIN NUTRITION: A breakfast tradition that has delivered wholesome nutrition to families seeking quality and great taste for generations ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0761WL8MX | | Age Range (Description) | Adult | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Best Sellers Rank | #1,434 in Grocery & Gourmet Food ( See Top 100 in Grocery & Gourmet Food ) #16 in Cold Cereal | | Brand | Grape-Nuts | | Brand Name | Grape-Nuts | | Breakfast Cereal Type | Cold Cereal | | Container Type | Box | | Cuisine | American cuisine | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 7,946 Reviews | | Diet Type | Plant Based | | Flavor | Grape Nuts Original | | Global Trade Identification Number | 10884912004724 | | Item Form | Flaked | | Item Highlight | Crunchy Pieces With Whole Grain Wheat & Barley, Excellent Source Of Fiber, Iron & Folate, NON-GMO Project Verified | | Item Package Weight | 9.34 kg | | Item Weight | 1.8 pounds | | Manufacturer | Post Consumer Brands | | Model Number | 88419 | | Number of Items | 10 | | Number of Pieces | 10 | | Package Size Name | 29 oz Box (Pack of 10) | | Part Number | 88419 | | Serving Style | Cold Cereal | | Set Name | Grape-Nuts Original Cold Breakfast Cereal, 29 oz Box, 10 Pack | | Size | 29 Ounce (Pack of 10) | | Specialty | GMO Free | | Sub Brand | Cereal | | Total Eaches | 1 | | Unit Count | 290 Ounce | ## Product Details - **Age Range (Description):** Adult - **Brand:** Grape-Nuts - **Flavor:** Unflavored - **Item Form:** Flaked - **Sub Brand:** Cereal ## Images ![Grape-Nuts Original Cold Breakfast Cereal, 29 oz Box, 10 Pack - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81WPaJiY0FL.jpg) ![Grape-Nuts Original Cold Breakfast Cereal, 29 oz Box, 10 Pack - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71ULdtcjaBL.jpg) ![Grape-Nuts Original Cold Breakfast Cereal, 29 oz Box, 10 Pack - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71Uc0LlYVOL.jpg) ![Grape-Nuts Original Cold Breakfast Cereal, 29 oz Box, 10 Pack - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81YGGnBcEqL.jpg) ![Grape-Nuts Original Cold Breakfast Cereal, 29 oz Box, 10 Pack - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81zAJMVjsHL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Does anybody know the shelf-life of Grape Nuts?** A: Not sure what you mean by "shelf-life". I bought this on Amazon in February and the boxes that arrived show a "use by" date of January 2020, so i assume the suppler is drawing from relatively current stock. **Q: Anybody know where the 5g of sugar is coming from? It’s not a listed ingredient.** A: The 5g of sugar is what is inherent in the ingredients listed, as all carbs have natural sugars. When there is sugar itself added, it will be in the nutrient list as "added sugars." There are no added sugars in Grape-Nuts. **Q: Is post discontinuing this product?** A: I believe they did for a while, but have begun again due to consumer demand. **Q: Are these flakes?** A: No, they are the nuts and not flakes. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Classic crunch and great value *by D***E on August 9, 2026* Grape-Nuts Original Cold Breakfast Cereal has been one of my absolute favorite cereals for a long time, and getting it at this price point makes it an even better buy. I love the hearty crunch and nutty flavor, and it’s especially good with cold milk or sprinkled over yogurt. The whole-grain ingredients and fiber make it a satisfying choice for breakfast. I also like that it stays crunchy for a while instead of getting soggy right away. A simple, wholesome cereal that I’m always happy to have in the pantry. ## Frequently Bought Together - Grape Nuts Original Breakfast Cereal, Crunchy Whole Grain Wheat and Barley Cereal, Non-GMO Project Verified, 29 OZ Box (Pack of 10) - Cheerios, Heart Healthy Gluten Free Breakfast Cereal, Giant Size, 20 oz - Post Wheat n Bran® Shredded Wheat, Breakfast Cereal, Excellent Source of Fiber, Kosher 18 Ounce – 1 count --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sk/products/58896684-grape-nuts-original-cold-breakfast-cereal-29-oz-box-10](https://www.desertcart.sk/products/58896684-grape-nuts-original-cold-breakfast-cereal-29-oz-box-10) --- *Product available on Desertcart Slovakia* *Store origin: SK* *Last updated: 2026-10-21*
