Wushu Kung Fu Twin Broadsword (Shuang Dao) - for Tai Chi, Shaolin, Martial Arts. Wss011

First thing I noticed was there was only one flag, the red one. There was no green flag on the other sword. The overall quality was about what I expected. Case is good for storing but is bigger and heavier than I expected. The swords do seem well suited for training but after watching some videos of top tier guys/gals using them I have to wonder how well they will stand up to the lighting fast movements the best peeps subject them to. As for me I doubt I have the strength and quickness to damage them but time will tell. Had to deduct stars due to missing flag.

The twin broadsword is a decent training tool, but not the best for any exhibition.Price is a little high for the quality.The spring steel is good and allows for flexibility on the top third of the swords.The guard is super thin, light weight metal.A bolt at the pommel needs to be tightened to keep the blade secured to the grip.The flags came with ends already unraveling. But they are light and move well in practice.The handle of a twin sword is a semicircle so gripping takes getting use to. I might wrap it with grip tape so it is less slippery.The scabbard is made of wood/MDF with high gloss paint and thin metal fittings. Hot glue is a little sloppy but ok. Strap not included.My swords came with smudged paint on the scabbard and fingerprints all over the articles. Expect to polish it often.

Great appearance, at first but upn closer inspection the inside of the sheat is composite wood almost like cardboard and the metal finishings are thin as paper and peeling of the scabbard, the gaurd are also litteraly plastic with silver paint. All in all still function as training dao and react well like other training swords I had before so other than cutting corners on the fittings and ornamentation I'm happy with my purchase.

Ok 96.00 I paid for Junk the case was bent up it was sharp for someone to get cut on and it was Hot Glued this is sad I Do Not recommend anything from them.
