Games boot up fast
Lots of storage, game performance is super, easy to install, and the air cooler seems to be plenty for keeping it cool

Terrific NVME drive that is ultra high speed.
The Corsair MP700 Pro is absolutely my go to card for video and photography editing. If you have PCIe, this is certainly the way to go. It's extremely fast and I haven't had a single problem with the drive. It performs exactly as it's stated and I'll continue to purchase these until they come out with an even faster model. You can't go wrong with Corsair and I highly recommend this drive if speed is essential to your workflow. Time is money, and this saves you time! Great buy.

Fast Gen5 drive!
I love this drive, it's incredibly fast and runs cool for me!I realize there are faster Gen5 drives on the market than this one, but this was available at a good price when I was building my new Ryzen/X870E system. I knew I wanted my main boot drive/c drive to be a Gen5 and I couldn't be happier.I also want to say, in my case because I'm using the Asus ROG Strix X870E-E Gaming Wifi motherboard I took the NVMe drive out of the heat sink and fan combo. You can put it back together should you need to it's just a few screws and a thermal pad or two. I can't comment on the heat with the OEM heat sink on it, but mine runs at 55c under load and idles around 42c.I bought this particular one with the heat sink because at the time, it was cheaper than the one without the heat sink by a fair bit, which honestly still doesn't make sense to me.

Be careful with M.2 EZ Connector
So MSI boards now days come with M.2 EZ clips- the SSD housing makes it a little too thick for the EZ Clip to close & I snapped mine haha, so I ended up making my own rubber grommet to pin it down. (This was 100% user-error as I should've paid better attention)Other than that, the SSD itself is solid & EXTREMELY fast. This thing loads big programs (think Halo: Infinite, Star Citizen, Starfield, etc.) in a matter of seconds. One of the nicest drives I've ever owned hands down.

Speeding into the Future with Software Stuck in the Past
Hey everyone! So, I decided to give my PC a little boost and snagged the Corsair MP700 PRO 1TB SSD with air cooling. Let me tell you, this thing is blazing fast! My games load up so quickly now that I barely have time to sip my coffee.Installation was a piece of cake: popped it into the M.2 slot, and boom, we’re in business. But, there’s a catch—the fan sounds like a tiny tractor. If you’re like me and enjoy some peace and quiet during those late-night gaming marathons, this might get on your nerves a bit. Now, about the software… Corsair, what happened? The interface looks like it time-traveled from the early 2000s, and it’s pretty bare-bones. You’d think with all the PCIe 5.0 wizardry, the software would be up to par, but nope, it’s stuck in a Y2K time warp. All in all, the SSD is a beast: fast and reliable, but the fan noise and outdated software are definite drawbacks. If Corsair can iron out these issues, this drive would be an absolute winner. For now, you’ll have to weigh what’s more important to you.

Did not fit my ROG board, but ssd is great
I couldn’t use the fan because it stands it off from the board too much, but the ssd is fantastic once I removed it

12 GB/s sequential read/write
Just built a new PC.Specifications:AMD 7800x3dGigabyte Auros Pro X x670e bios version F2164 GB G. Skill Trident Neo Z5 6000 CL30 AMD EXPOGigabyte RTX 4080I'm running the MP700 Pro in the Gen 5 NVME slot using the MB NVME heatsink (which is really good).I quickly ran a few tests and its pretty much the fastest SSD I have ever tested (consumer grade non-server class PCIe slot card).Temps are fine as long as you have a good MB with a heatsink for the NVME slot (this drive definitely requires some type of cooling).Highest recorded temp I got was 55 C during sustained writes during the benchmark while average temp was around 45 to 46 C. I'm in a pretty cool room (ambient temperature of the room is 21 C).Highest temp I ever noticed it get to was 60 C during very long heavy use. Published operating temperature listed by Corsair is 70 C.Very satisfied with the product!
