Duke Volume 1: Knowing is Half the Battle (Energon Universe)

Betrayed, broken, but unstoppable
A very good book. Another quick read, I do like GIJOE/Action Force, but I love Transformers. I like the way both are coming together.Conrad Hauser, Duke, was the best and brightest soldier produced by the US army. He has seen it all on the battlefield, or so he thought. He saw something that couldn't be explained, and everyone and everything he trusts is lying to him or hiding something from him. No longer in the army, but Duke is not the person to let something like this go. However could his discoveries lead to more conspiracies, beginnings, and definitely death.A great start, I am very interested to see where things go from here. It is a very good epilogue in this book as well.

I'm digging the energon universe
I liked this read. It was a different Duke than the Duke of my youth. This guy has been through some stuff and not the cool calm and collected Duke of the 80s. He's out for revenge and wants to destroy these Transforming Aliens. The artwork is good and it's a quick read. There really isn't any boring parts and since I'm a huge fan of Transformers and GI Joe I'm digging it and how they are intertwining them. Pick this up you will enjoy it.

Top Comic
Insgesamt vielleicht 3,5/5 bzw. 7/10.

An excellent story set within a great crossover universe.
The folks at Energon Universe are doing what other publishers egregiously failed to do, in that they are telling great stories without pushing "The Message". This action packed yarn featuring "Duke" of G.I.Joe fame gives us the aftermath of his first encounter with the Transformers. A well written tightly paced graphic novel that puts most of what Hollywood produces these days to shame.

Yo, Joe.
Been a Joe fan since I was a kid. This new take on the Duke character is fun and refreshing.

Great book!
Love the story, art, and energon universe take on Joe and Transformers. Hama's G.I.Joe got me into comics when I was a kid. This story was a fresh rake, and an intense 6 issues. The paper, binding, and book itself are all good quality.
