**Q: what scale is it?**
A: this is a 1:16 scale, so larger than a Breyer Paddock Pal (1:24) but smaller than a classic (1:12). This is called "curio" size.

**Q: May I see a picture of the horse with a ruler to confirm the size?**
A: the size listed is the correct measurements for this item

**Q: What caind of material are The horse?**
A: A very heavy duty poly resin plastic. Very beautiful horse.

**Q: I can see a hint of purple in the figure, is the purple really noticeable in person?**
A: When I took it outside, yes, the undercoat looks purple - mostly on the chest, points of the shoulder and hips.  Inside the horse looks like it has brown tones under the black, but the color is subtle - my horse looks black unless you look closely. If you do a search on Friesians, you'll see a lot of them have brown tones. The piece is very lovely, probably my favorite so far of the horses Deborah McDermott has sculpted for Collecta.
