Great book
This is the printed version of the freely available pdf, and is ideal for those of us who like physical books to read. Hatcher writes clearly, and gets a lot done in a short amount of text by keeping to the point and not cluttering the narrative with unnecessary detail where it's not needed. I wish there were solutions to the exercises, though.

Hatcher's Algebraic Topology
This book deals with a hard subject, but every effort has been made to explain and motivate the ideas involved before they are dealt with rigorously. Often done with simple examples, this gives an opportunity to get comfortable with them first and makes this book about as readable as a book on algebraic topology can be.

Wow im impressed
To find such an advanced text for so cheap is amazing. It will take me a while to get through it all though

It is a good textbook, with intuitive motivations and lots of examples
It is a good textbook, with intuitive motivations and lots of examples. However, I think there are better alternatives--Rotman, Dold, May, Spanier, which are clearer in terms of organisation. It is still a great book for the wealth of examples.

I just love it!
This book is a really good approximation to algebraic geometry to have a geometric intuition.

Great Book for Beginners
I received a nice copy from Amazon, delivery was quick. Coming to the book, this is great starting point for Algebraic Topology if you know Point set Topology ( because he assumes that the reader knows Quotient Topology). Also, the book is legally available ( on his website). Before introducing a concept, he will motivate it by proper examples and proves theorems after stating some interesting consequences hence great for self study. Some people may not be happy some of the proofs but that's a negligible issue. There are great number of exercises at the end of each section. As he explains in the preface, it would be pity if we miss the geometric intuition of the subject ( and it IS geometric), hence there are lots of diagrams in the book, which is a plus point. Enjoy reading it!

A fundamental book for algebraic topology
This is a must-have for the ones approaching Algebraic Topology. It is full of examples and counterexamples, and present the arguments in a geometry-flavoured way, with a very natural order. Really recommended.

Excellent
