One of the most accurate PH tests out there.

Easy to use, but a .3 difference with the colors makes it hard to determine your exact pH.

Best on the market. Have used other brands this is to be trusted.

Read the description of this test kit very closely - if you read far enough you'll find the pH range that this is calibrated for. I mistakenly purchased it only to find that the kit only reads high range pH - from 7.4 to 8.6...useless for my planted freshwater tank. There are 5 colors on the card to read, with a 0.3 spread between the colors. The instructions say "If the color is somewhere between two values then the pH is also in between those values." Really? I had no idea. Even if this test did read in the range needed for a planted freshwater tank there would be too much guesswork involved since pH values need to be recorded to within 0.1 for CO2 concentration calculations using carbonate hardness (dKH.)It's not an inexpensive kit, especially when compared to the API test kits (which I had hoped to be able to replace.) I'd love to return it, but TB Aquatics policy states that it can't be returned since it requires special shipping and handling that they can't provide. I'm not entirely sure what sending this back to them would entail, but it arrived in a bubble mailer envelope that looked as if it had been kicked to my mailbox. I do not recommend buying from this seller.

Honestly - the redsea test kits are easier to use and more accurate in my opinion.

Works as indicated. A little hard to decide exactly what the reading is but for the cost vs. a digital unit it works fine.
