Awesome back-light to a desk, many other functions
I absolutely love these! They give a piece of furniture or a wider room, depending on where you use them, a Premium feel without the premium price.I’ve mounted these onto the back of my desk to create a back-light while I’m working in the evening. It helps me to have another light in the background of my monitors while I work.I’m tempted to buy another strip to run along the bottom of our kitchen cabinets, as they would provide some extra light concentrated not on the work surface.Very easy to setup, simply roll the strip out and cut it to length (designated points around the strip at intervals that are safe to cut), remove the adhesive on the back and stick it to any surface. There’s three pieces, the plug socket which plugs into the white unit that is the receiver for the remote control, and then you plug the end of the LED strip into the white unit.Work of caution, I first put the LED strip into the the white unit the wrong way around, as it fits in both ways. This resulted in the lights not turning on. Quickly resolved by just turning it around. The control is awesome. It gives such a wide variety of colours. The LED’s on the strip at split into two, alternating a colour LED and then a white LED. The top part of the controller is for the Colour LED and the bottom is for the White LED. You can turn one of them on, or both of them on. It’s probably not a feature I would use because of where I’m using the lights, but there are settings on the controller to set a cycle between different colours, or a strobe effect.

Decent, but could be brighter.
Works as it is supposed to, but not too bright. The "white" isn't a great white. If you're looking for a working light, for example, in a kitchen for under unit lights, go for a 24V strip rather than 12V, as this is not as bright as it should be.Would recommend this more for feature lighting around a small area, such as behind a TV or gaming rig.

Perfect for any occasion or room
These lights are fantastic, non obtrusive can place them on edges, comes with a strong adhesive back which is very helpful. The strip itself delicate, I wouldn't want to apply too much pressure to it yet it's not that weak either. The LED'S are very bright and the brightness settings can be altered, it has many modes, the way colours flash, the "rhythm" which is really good feature. It could be possible however I'm not sure how to, but it seems as though you could add an extension? To increase the length instead of 5m could have a possible 10m? Although I didn't feel like messing around with mine. I'm sure it could be broken in to different lengths also as there are cutting sections but I don't know how they would operate once cut ...if anyone could inform on how I'd be grateful. All in all really happy with these light great addition to any room, or perfect for any occasion!

Bright but cheap
The SUPERNIGHT RGBW LED Strips 12v LED Strip Light offers excellent brightness and vibrant colors, living up to its promise. However, the included power supply feels cheap and has been problematic. When using it to power both the LED strips and my Shelly RGBW, the power supply occasionally restarts for no apparent reason. I’ll be replacing it with a more reliable one. That said, the LED tape itself works perfectly, providing great lighting and performance as expected. Just be mindful of the power supply if you're using it in a more demanding setup.

Great quality and nice to have RGB and W too!!!
This is a superb and good quality led light strip. It comes with everything you need, except for the connectors if you're planning on cutting and rejoining such as making it go neatly around corners. The white in these LEDs is a cool white, not a warm white. It adds to the colour choice in a very positive way; other strips I've bought have either been one or the other and I've never bought with the option of white and/or colour. It's a great idea combining the two. I love the vast array of colours and the white is really useful to have as a standalone colour too. There are plenty of additional features, the most useful for me being the ability to dim and brighten the light. I'm not particularly fond of flashing lights but my daughter, whose room these are in, seems to think they're the business. Not at bedtime, they're not!!!I installed this in a bedroom around the room edges and came up against the age old problem of gravity and wrong paint finish on walls versus the adhesive strip. I've had this issue with virtually every strip I've installed to be honest, eventually the strips become unstuck. Warmer weather is a big issue because it makes the glue strip tacky, and many surfaces just don't seem to like the adhesive to begin with, even when I've prepared the surface and removed oils and dust with some alcohol. The last time it happened I hopped on to an electrician forum where I learned that even the expensive £150-a-pop strips have the issue! The common solution amongst electricians is hot glue and it works really well although best in mind it's a pretty permanent fix. I'd also recommend that you fix down the in-line receiver for the remote if it's hanging, as the weight pulls on the strip. I just secured it with a couple of stick on command string lights clips as I had some to hand from Christmas. The connectors required are 5 pin 12mm RGBW, and there's a plentiful choice on Amazon although they do cost several pounds. You can buy straight connectors or L-shaped for cornersIf you intend to take this around the entirety of a room, I'd measure carefully how much you need. 5 metres (16.4 feet) sounds like a lot but it isn't! I wanted to cover just two walls in a little box room and knew it would be tight. As I installed it, I wished I'd bought the extra length and done three walls instead. You live and learn! The product description states that you shouldn't join more than one of these strips because of the power supply. This exact same led strip can be bought as a 10m length which is cheaper than buying two 5m kits anyway.

Lite up my Life
These lights are excellent in the background of my stream and I love the affects and colours they can do. It has added mood to my stream and really ahs improved the backdrop. I have no used adhesive side but the controller took some getting used to and knowing where to point, it did feel tempremental to begin with till I got used to it. An excellent purchase and great value for money.

10mm wide strip; Could have done with brighter ones.
Note the strip is 10mm wide so requires 10mm connectors if cutting/extending (not 12mm ones per another review). Not as bright as I imagined but ok otherwise.
