To Say The Book Is A GameChanger Would Be Doing It A Dis-service
I've been waiting for this book to be published.Kevin Casey cares about sales the same way I care about sales.Trouble is, we're of a 'certain' generation where 'sales' was 'taught' in a certain way. Then an unfortunate 'sales' incident happened in Kevin's sales life.[No I'm not telling, I'll leave that to Kevin]The incident triggered something that's buried deep in the psyche of all salespeople. The real game changer isn't actually the book [the book is superb btw] but the incident...that provoked Kevin to write the book.Imagine if you were confronted with something that immediately disproved everything you ever thought about something profound in your life? That's what this book does...about sales & selling and all the nonsense we believe about it.Whether you're new to selling...or you've been at it since Noah was a young boy...You'l be glad you bought this book.

The art of selling without selling
George Bernard Shaw said it best ‘The minority are sometimes right, the majority always wrong’. If you want to be in the minority - a top producing salesperson, without the manipulative, pushy tactics that give sellers a bad name - this book is for you. It challenges conventional sales thinking and might feel counterintuitive. But therein lies the magic. Kevin does a fantastic job of laying out how to sell without making you or your prospect feeling uncomfortable. No BS, just wonderfully pragmatic advice on how connect as an equal on a human level. The great thing is, the less you try and force the sale - the more successful you’ll become.

I’m no longer afraid of sales!
I’m a business owner who’s found selling excruciating—like many others. And although I know that in order to run my business, I HAVE to get comfortable selling, it’s been so tough. So I’ve muddled along doing my best and often relying on Hopeium. Then along came (un)selling and within just a few minutes, it changed my outlook. It’s jam packed with simple suggestions, scripts, examples, and encouragement for turning awkward sales conversations into human connections—and improving the experience for everyone.11/10 recommend and I wish I’d had this book when I first started out.

One of the best Sales books I've read
This is hands-down one of the best Sales books I've read. It's very easy to read as Kevin is a great story teller, and full of wisdom you can apply immediately to your business. Using the (un)selling methods has made selling far less stressful and more enjoyable, but I'm also getting better results. Highly recommend!

Wow, what a read (un)selling turned out to be!
I used to avoid selling and always sounded as though clients were doing ME a favour by hiring me. This is why I love the ‘Tale of Two Dogs’ that Kevin uses.Pre-(un)selling, I was definitely a Chase. Post-(un)selling, though, I am certainly more Case and because of this book, the transition wasn’t as painful as I thought it would be.Kevin uses humour so well to get his points across – without a piece of fluff or waffle in sight. If you want some no-nonsense guidance on how to sell without selling, I'd highly recommend this book to you. It's as practical as it is enjoyable to read. And it's the best business book I've read for a loooong time.

Kevin, another book perhaps?
I know, he said that he would not write another book, but maybe there’s a book to be had for success stories resulting from this book. All the effort that Kevin talks about in writing this book pays off. It reads very smoothly, it has excellent flow, and more importantly, there are ideas in here that guarantee success. I’ve enjoyed the book, and messaging with Kevin, because many of the things I was doing suddenly have a story or an explanation behind them. His whole idea of doing something that is uncomfortable is a great suggestion! Continually confronting that discomfort will make you a better person.Well, this book is a great idea for all aspects of selling, there are parts of it, that you could apply to almost anything. I think the best part of it is the idea to change yourself, and become the trusted advisor, the expert.Thank you Kevin for writing this book, and and up for all of the effort I know you put into it. Thanks also for reading your email, just like you say you do I have enjoyed getting responses from you!

Must read for anyone in Sales, Marketing or Leadership
I run a B2B SaaS company and have found the standard B2B sales process rather exhausting and ultimately draining. This book formulates and organizes an approach that I have been pondering for a while - shifting the framing on sales from trying to close to being the solution to their problem. This concept isn't novel but the shift in thinking at every stage as a result - literally "unselling" - has been eye opening and exciting. He leads you on a journey that will takes the concept through your whole sales process. The book is succinct and insightful. An added value from this book is the value the author adds through the online resources referenced and linked in the book.I have used this to reshape much our our sales approach and I am already seeing results - mostly in a renewed sense of energy in my team. This book is now mandatory reading for anyone in sales, marketing or leadership in our company. I recommend getting on the authors email list and LinkedIn as well.

Helpful for business owners
I know how important sales is but I hate selling. I mean I really, really hate selling. My dislike of sales has definitely affected my business, reducing the amount I've made over the years, but I've chalked that up to the price of staying true to myself. This book helped me understand that I hated sales because I had a very narrow interpretation of what "sales" meant... and that there are ways to sell ethically and authentically while still remaining true to my values. It also gave me some new tools to try selling confidently without being as personally invested in the outcome, which has been a roller coaster for me in the past. I'm looking forward to trying out these methods in my business

No matter how much experience you have this book will help you be more effective!
I have been in sales and business development for 35 years. Just yesterday I employed Kevin's seeking the truth and I lost faster and got my pipeline down to a true representation of our actual business prospects. That is just the start. Kevin starts with praise from his mom and that had me at hello. His 'Rude Awakening' introduction is compelling. Written in a way that keeps you engaged, that's not easy for a book on sales! When I was in business school over 30 years ago a guest lecturer came in and said "Sales is the Engine that drives the economy!" I wanted to be in sales from that moment forward. I even read that phrase in Kevin's book. In my opinion this book has everything you need to get out there and get it done which is all that matters in business development!
