Broke in just 6 weeks of use
This was useless. It broke only 6 weeks of use. Too late for an amazon return. Not sure if it's even worth it to contact the dealer for a refund.Contacted the seller and they offered a replacement or refund. I took the refund. Upgraded to 2 stars for customer service.

Complete Junk, they just crimp the ends of the cable with the heat treated plastic
Complete junk, the ends of the cable are just crimped by heat treated plastic. When you lock/unlock, the lock housings will twist and separate from the cable ends. As you can see from the pictures, there is not even anything to anchor the cable ends to the lock housing, not that it matters because the housing is just hard plastic. This is not a defect, but an intentional manufacturing short cut. If you are unlucky, the twisting force of the coiled cable will separate the ends from the lock and allow the thieves to spot that you have an unlocked bike/scooter that is free for all.
