Works like a champ. Having 3 refills is a big deal. Works on most surfaces. Works well to cover subscription bottles, too. More secure than tearing up labels and old style shredders.

I have a PO box and my car often gets flooded with stupid credit card offers or other various statements. I don't throw it away because my name is printed on it. So it creates a pile. Now that I have this it's a fun,easy swipe and a toss in the trash. I can leave nowing my car is free of clutter and my info is protected. Highly recommend. My family will be getting this for stocking stuffers. Huge help!

Works well and hides personal info.

This works perfectly fine. All you do is roll over any type of address or documents you have. It covers without any issues. I did buy extra ink to refill. How many uses you can get out of the ink, that I really don’t have the answer to since I didn’t count how many documents that I used all already. Trodat is a well known brand. When I was working we often bought different type of stamps from this company. It’s well made and worth the money. When opening it is a little hard but once you know how it opens it gets easier. You do want it to close tight so the ink doesn’t dry out. I would recommend this product.

Nice quality, does the job. Only use good quality, thick ink in this. If you use any regular ink (especially a watery one) it'll ruin your stamp. You must use a thick heavy duty ink in this thing. If you use the "regular refill" ink for any stamps, it'll water down your stamp and it'll make it watery and blue and not dark enough to protect what you're stamping over. Also this thing does seem to use a considerable amount of ink, which I suppose is reasonable considering the large area you're covering with it.

Coverage is great and time saving.

This thing is great! Excellent value! I have used other Trodat stamp products in the past & they were always quality products. I wish I had decided to buy this sooner! I can use it all kinds of things that I never thought of before. Use it on anything printed words that you want to hide, even pill bottle prescriptions can be covered if you roll carefully. It's nice that it has a cover that screws off - it won't just fall off and dry out!Follow the directions and don't overwrite itself if you can help it on most things. There have been a couple things that were a little difficult to cover due to the font style & size that I could still make out if I looked at them closely, running the Trodat across it at right angles fixed those rare instances.Completely blacking out an area may make it readable again due to the difference in blacks and reflectivity - I tested to see and was able to read thru it, mostly on shiny printing, you actually want a bunch of white spaces visible to make it impossible for the eyes to fixate on anything.Comes with 3 ink refill ampules (small bottle) and looking at the directions it will be easy! I think I will use it a long time before I need to refill it, maybe you will if you have stacks of stuff to hide info on.
