Probably not ok for electric instruments
Seems sturdy enough but the clamps are far too wide for electric instruments- I got around this by cutting up a yoga block and wedging it in - however I wouldn’t want to risk it with a super rare or expensive instrument

If you have a wide acoustic guitar then fine.No adjusters for anything thinner to hold the guitar in place
