Planning to use a lot of this in a tub. Can it be heated/warmed in the microwave or some other way?

In my experience heating it to much causes it to change composition becomes different. Heat just enough to warm it not to bring it to a boil. Doesn't sound too safe putting it in tub be cautious it is very slippery.
