Next Generation Air Conditioner Evaporator Coil Fin Cleaning Brush V2 (Double-Sided) - By XCEL

This brush is a must when cleaning any evaporative coil or radiator. On one side is a good set of nylon bristles which won't damage aluminum fins if you use them carefully. And on the other side are fine, wire bristles with rounded tips. The handle is a black plastic of sufficient size to feel good in your hand. Using a foaming cleaner, you can use the wire bristles to brush with the "grain" of the coil's fins and get deeply embedded gunk out, while a second pass with foamer and the nylon bristles cleans the fins almost completely and without damage. Remember to always pull the bristles along the "grain" of the coils, never across. This brush worked well and for the cost was outstanding. It's robust enough that I expect it's the only one I'll ever buy (unless I lose it), but if I needed another I would re-order this one.

Updated review: After speaking to a representative, I realized that I needed the upgraded model for commercial use. They sent me a free replacement and I’m very happy with it. The upgraded model is all metal and much more robust. This version is good for occasional light home use. It does a great job!

Works perfectly for cleaning the A/C condenser and A coil. It is a little larger so you can’t get everything but the parts that it does get are really clean. I mostly used it to knock loose the debris from the fins and then applied a foaming cleaner

Purchased along with a few other items and it really helps lift the dirt and grime.

I've cleaned four different window a/c units with this brush and it still is holding up! It probably isn't going to last for a long time. But it has been a good buy so far.
