Overall quite impressed
It seems to work when drying a small load of washing, it is relatively quick and only took a day to dry the load consisting of 4 t shirts, a jumper and a tracksuit. I doubt it would be as effective with a heavier load of washing, but I was quite impressed overall - it is much better than drying on radiators which is never a good idea. The only negative is the amount of time it takes to load and unload clothes, it is a bit fiddly using the rails.

Small tidy airer
Airer arrived very quickly, well packaged, perfect condition, just took out of box, popped it up (extremely easy to put up and fold) pleased at how sturdy and tidy this small airer is. The bars do get quite hot but not too hot as to burn yourself. The airer fits nicely in a corner of the room. I just wished that I'd have measured up and took note of how small this airer actually is, as I'm abit worried about drying long trousers etc on it, however there is only 2 adults washing to dry, so going to see how it goes. I haven't actually dried a full 10kg wash on the airer yet straight from the machine, just finished drying on it from the washing line that was about 70% dry, left on it and turned over half way through and took a couple of hours to all dry completely, some bigger items dried flat on the bars and like people have commented the heater does warm the room up and make the room smell nice. Some light material clothes were dry sooner. I'm abit sceptical that you could actually fit 15kg of washing on this midi airer? I actually made a mistake in purchasing this size as I thought it was the same size as my mother in law's airer which is actually the next size up. I have faith in dry soon as a few people I know has had this make and is still working after years of use. Mother in law has had hers 8 years. I have been generous giving this airer 5 stars just because I know this is a good sturdy airer, but not completely sure that is suitable for us. I would recommend that a family of 3 or more purchase the biggest one (if have room and can afford it) AND MEASURE UP ๐ saying that, the airers do fold nicely and easily. I may review this airer in a few months when the weather has turned because it will be in constant use. I will definitely be putting the washer on an extra 12 minute spin too as I find laundry dries quicker this way and also still drying outside and finishing laundry off on the airer (weather permitting) hope this review is helpful to some people ๐

No more damp washing.
This mini airer is perfect for our flat. Lightweight and very easy to set up. I dried one load , left overnight and all dry in the morning. This included 2 pairs of jeans. I worked out the cost to run with an energy calculator and it's only 5p an hour. There's only the two of us and the size is just right. No more damp washing hanging around. Very happy.

Perfect for confined areas
I bought this back in October to help dry clothes indoors quicker, especially in the colder winter months. I liked the design, which means it takes up less space than other products that do the same job. You can either fully open it to form a cross shape, or just one half to form a T-shape, if drying smaller clothing items, which means it occupies even less space. It does only have the one heat setting, and warms up very quickly, and is not too hot that you're likely to burn your hand. I get Which? Magazine and not long after purchasing the Dry:Soon it was reviewed in the magazine, and came out as one of their Best Buys for a heated airer. Also, it's recently been advertised on TV too! A great product, especially if drying clothes indoors in a confined space, and want it done quickly, and I can highly recommend it.

OK, but not essential
A couple of people I know swear by their DrySoon rack. Being a radiator clothes drying chap, I was unconvinced. I took the plunge and was initially unimpressed. It doesn't get very warm and I spent a good while shaking my fist and these so-called friends. In my heart, I knew I was the problem though so spent a little bit more to get the cover for it. It does make a difference, but you'll still need to leave it on overnight, ideally about 24 hours (the recommended extent of time this should be left on). Even then, without regular rearranging, getting those armpits on the heated parts and generally nursing it, it's doesn't return the bone-dry and crisp fresh clothes that others report. I'd say if you live in a place where you just use the radiators (especially over the winter) to dry stuff, stick to that. For the price, it's just not worth it.

Life saver
Life saver Purchased after our boiler was condemned and could no longer use the airing cupboard. Takes a bit of getting used to, not the same as the airing cupboard, but with some patience it's great. Definitely worth getting the cover. I'm not sure it's adequate for us 3 adults and might invest in the larger one and keep this as a spare/ for lighter load days. Rungs are not wide enough for Adult shirts. However I got jeans dry in 12 hours by placing at the top of airer. I recommend also getting a timer if you are not at home all day.
