Amazing and so Useful
What a tremendously positive difference to our routine!!! This is a compact device that doesn't have the huge footprint of most RO devices. We actually bought this primarily to filter the sodium out of our water that comes from our municipality. We do have a carbon block filter on our sink line that filters out the other bad stuff, but this filters out the high levels of sodium and any PFAS/PFOS remaining in our tap water. The results are amazing. PAY ATTENTION to the instructions when you first set it up, and make an entire morning or afternoon of it, ESPECIALLY if you have relatively high TDS. During the initial setup, you will have to empty and refill it at times, even if the feeder tank is not down to the full line. That is just part of the initial process. Once it indicates that it is ready, you won't have to replace the filter for a very long time. I set mine up in January and it is still running strong. This is fantastic value for the price and the water tastes better than any other filtered water I've ever had. Additional tips: measure your counter space before purchasing, and leave room to place a pitcher in front of it in case you want a lot of water at one time. Pick the feeder tank up from the handle AND the base in order to extend the life of the handle. When the water refill light goes on, always fill it before using it in order to extend the longevity of the overall product. Wait until the system stops humming before taking the feeder tank out to refill it. Hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

amazing
Likes:- compact size- quiet operation- helpful setup interface- easy to use- water tastes greatI had a different RO system but apparently they quit selling filters for that model. I decided to go with a better known brand this time. The plastic feels a tad cheap but overall everthing is built well and works fine. I really liked how the machine walks you through the setup process to do it correctly. It also helps to read the well-written user manual. I plan to stay with this machine/brand indefinitely, as long as everything works well.

Be ware of defective unit
First of all, I'm not someone who can't be pleased and cling to negative experiences or product reviews. For the majority of time I'm happy about my Amazon purchases, but lately have been really let down. This product came to my attention because of family member and friend's recommendation about water filer to ensure drinking water safety, as they know my son went through harsh medical treatment last year. I thought I bought it directly from the company who made WaterDrop products but frankly I'm not sure now. The setup is simple, but after numerous tries it just won't finish the flushing process. It stays on 50% forever and when I contacted tech support, they gave out one piece of solution every time, about 24 hours after my email, probably because they're overseas and there's a time difference. I told them this is a defect unit and asked for replacement but they just kept asking me to try fixing this and that. It shouldn't take this much efforts to get a countertop filer to work, it's not a complex piece of machine, and yet it's been sitting here for a week now. Besides this, I also received a glass jar that's broken during transit, a package of spice jars sent to the wrong address, all happened in two months of time, wake up Amazon! This is not the way business was done here before! Furious!Updates about this unit on 2/29: the company sent me a new unit which arrived on 27th, plugged in and it did the same thing: flushing to 50% then just stayed there. Someone called to videotaped the unit and status, offered to call me back later yesterday but never did. I emailed the company again today to complaint. As of now two defective units have taken up my counter space, I have carton boxes all over the floor because they expected me to ship them back if not working. Instead of being a solution to my drinking water quality they have created endless extra work for me!Updates about this purchase on 3/19: about two weeks ago I returned the first unit to Amazon and received the refund. The seller issued me a gift card to make up for my negative experience. They also provided me with free return labels to ship back the replacement unit. I informed them I will update my review to list the facts, but will not change the stars because I believe a product is supposed to be working in the first place to earn good reviews, and the seller is in agreement to that. I do hope that they will fix their production or technical issues to this won't happen to other customers. I am still in the market looking for a high quality countertop water filter to replace the pitcher I have used for many years.

1 Year Review + Customer Service Review
This is a review after 6 months of daily usage. I did a lot of research before making a decision on which RO system to purchase, as I am very serious about my health. This product is superior to all other countertop RO systems on the market, as it allows you to clean and maintain all the individual reservoirs, including the reservoir where the RO water is stored after filtration, which is something that is very important and no other competitors products in this price range allow you the ability to do. Unfortunately, the handle on the feed water tank broke at one of it's hinges, making the system unusable. I contacted customer support via email, as this product comes with a one year warranty from the date of purchase. Robbie Li from customer support responded to my inquiry at lightning speed. I emailed late at night at around 1am and he responded by 3am. He kept me updated regularly throughout the entire process and got the part shipped to me within 3 days of it shipping via expedited shipping. I am very impressed by their excellent customer service and highly recommend both this product and this company.1 FULL YEAR UPDATE:This an updated full year review of this product. After about 8 to 9 months into usage, the system started experiencing issues with overfilling. Karina in customer service was very helpful in walking me through a descaling process to try to solve the issue, but unfortunately, to no success. After attempting to fix it and failing, she was quick to send me out a brand new system, at no extra cost to me whatsoever. The product itself is still fantastic and in my opinion, still one of the best you can get on the market that is within this price range, but the customer service is even better than the product itself. I do hope that they can improve upon their design so that future models do not have this overfilling issue later on in it's lifespan, but it is still a great product! Thanks again Karina for all of the help!ANOTHER UPDATE:After about a month of daily usage with my replacement machine, it unfortunately started showing issues with it spitting water into two streams instead of one out of the dispenser while dispensing water. I contacted Karina in customer service once again about this issue, and she was very kind in sending me yet another brand new system. This system seems to be working fine, and there are no issues with it so far. I think I was just unlucky in getting a defective machine for the replacement the first time around. But I would like to thank Karina once again in helping to quickly resolve my issue and helping me to stay a satisfied customer once again!

Not worth the money or the hassle!
After 6 months the machine failed and didn't want to dispense water, even though the clean water tank was full. After some back and forward with customer service, they replaced the machine and I can now once again enjoy clean drinking water. The machine itself works great and filters the water very well.

Excellent customer service
Works very well. Water taste is great with this filter. Before the filter our water tastes like chlorine and has a bad smell. After the filter, it is perfect. After about 10 months, though, my unit had an issue with the display. Filter and pumps worked fine, but display elements would randomly stop illuminating. I emailed Waterdrop support and I was helped by Karina. Excellent customer service. They shipped me a new unit and once I got the new one they sent me a label to ship the old one back.

Good tasting healthy water
Wonderful little gadget. I have well water, but pre-treat with a sediment filter and water softener. TDS (total Dissolved solids) were over 250, which ruined the flavor of coffee or tea. The treated water was delicious and refreshing .This device says it reduces TDS to 4, though it rose slightly as the reservoir emptied. The purified water can be dispensed or poured into another container, convenient if a lot is needed at one time, as for a dinner party. It works better than a Brita style filter. Our local wells contain high levels of arsenic, which causes heart disease with chronic exposure. A carbon filter doesn't remove arsenic. Reverse osmosis does the job.

Customer service sucks and makes a lot of noise
Water tastes great but the pump is always making noise, even if installed properly. Also their customer service SUCKS! I called to see if they can help me trouble shoot before deciding to return. They make you wait on the phone only to hang up on your when you’re next….or if you opt out for them to call you back. The moment you answer they hang up!

Best filter under $500
Really love this filter. This is well worth the $350-400 range. Tastes great, filters in a reasonable time and reliable because of simplicity. Its not fancy and thats exactly what you want in a filter. Takes a single all-in-one filter that should last a year. My only gripe is the rather small capacity for two people and the need to empty it out and refill again. I’d love the ability to get a larger tank but I’m not complaining at this price point.Edit: 10/10 customer service. Had a small issue with a unit and support was outstanding. Becky helped me out every step of the way and in the end I was made whole again. Great product and a customer service to match.

Waterdrop RO
I bought this product. After installing on counter top After plugging in to a power source there was no indication on screen with lights. I called the technical support as indicated on brochure and website - response received that the agents are busy and to leave a voicemail. I received a call back and the agent was very helpful in creating a case for me. I was able to use the machine. The water drop filter is amazing. Very clear and tasty water. I even tried boiling the filtered water in an electric kettle several times and found no sediments collected. I recommend this water drop filter. It’s worth using this product

Won't last long
Got ours nov 2024. Started leaking mid 2025. Now completely unusable. We opened the bottom and it's completely shot.

Not for us
It's a lovely unit, but we didn't like the taste and to be honest the electric part of it doesn't make much sense to me. What happens if you lose electricity for a long period? You drink from the tap? Kind of defeats the purpose of buying it. Will stay with the typical counter filter system.
