This is the perfect size vault for any carry pistol. It can fit and lock under a seat and the finger scanner works perfectly and quick. Beautiful quality construction. Feels and looks solid. Do yourself a favor a favor and buy one of these!

I needed something small to store a defensive weapon in our living room. I wanted something that was fingerprint activated, and high quality. I was familiar with the Vaultek name, and love the SIG brand, so this was a perfect match. The size is great, and the locking/unlocking motion works well. Its a little pricy compared to a lot of the Chinese made ones you can find on Amazon, but its much nicer, and they tend to be much larger. The inside of the lid has slots for thin items like cards. I don't have a use for those. Two things to be aware of: - If you are using the fingerprint reader, its a one touch unlock. If you are using the number pad, you must tap the central button first to wake up the pad, then you can enter your code. - You can't leave the latches unlatched while it is locked. It binds up the locking mechanism.

Great! Compact, sturdy, secure and mobile. Can't ask for anything more. I've noticed that the biometrics doesn't work as well if its been left in the hot car, other than that. Nothing else worth mentioning.

Works well enough to keep my handgun nearby in case it is needed. I would recommend that one keep it unlocked at night in case you need quick access. Having to fumble with the finger unlock or several digit code could be a situation between life and death. Imagine someone breaking in and you can't unlock the damn thing to get to your weapon. Not a good scenario. Do lock it all other times though so no one that should not have access keeps their dirty little paws off its contents.

Excellent build quality. Fingerprint opening works perfectly. Very nice interior, easy to setup with the pluck foam. The exterior seems very durable. I’ve had it tethered under my car seat for a few months banging around and it still looks brand new

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Great little travel safe. A little smaller than. I would have liked but the step up would be too large. I wasn't able to use the pluck foam because of this. The finger print reader can be erratic at times even thought the same finger is saved multiple times. A samsung smart tag inside works great for tracking.

Beautiful case without a question. Unfortunately if you have anything bigger the the Sig Sauer 365 X Macro it will not fit. Very easy to use and seems very sturdy but definitely not worth the price tag. This item should definitely not cost more than $120 at Max. Definitely overpriced like anything else you’re paying the extra $80 for the name?

A new law in the state of Colorado requires carrying a weapon in a vehicle in a locked box. This is my first case and I love this box. It took a little minute to get my fingerprint aligned just right, but once it got it I am set. I like the side latches along with the ability to enter the box, if needed, quickly. My husband also has access to the box with his fingerprint so it isn't limited to just one person. I put an air tag in the box for added security. I have a large compartment in my Honda Pilot and wish that it fit but it is off by just a wee bit. I keep it stored under my seat.
