**Q: How is this used to massage the psoas?**
A: Trigger points in psoas muscles are frequently overlooked and are often the source of lower back pain, groin and front of thigh pain and chronic pelvic pain. However, psoas is a very deep muscle, a standard massager will not access the psoas. Psoas can only be stretched and relieved with a massager that includes spine bending with a neutral spine posture. our Back massager’s ergonomic design can be used to access and relieve proas muscles in a gentle way. However please be advised if you would like to have a strong and direct massager for psoas, this one may not be right for you. We are designing two new manual massagers to mimics massaging by elbow which will be on the market next year. They will be more suitable for you if you look for a strong one.

One of the best things I've bought for back pain. I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and my lower back is always locked tight. I have spent a fortune on various gadgets over the years, most to be thrown away - but this was a brilliant purchase. It's very heavy, but what I find brilliant is I can control exactly where it's going and your own weight gives the pressure you need. This isn't for you if you can't handle deep pressure, but for those of us who need deep and intense relief, it's perfect. You can also move yourself to get to the painful bits, and it really does give good pain relief in that area after using it. It's very well made, you can tell it's a quality item and should last for years if you're concerned about the price. I find it very easy to use; it just takes a few minutes to work out the best spots on your back for you. I also have the lobster made by the same company for the shoulder area, which I also find helpful.
