Herb Pharm Better Bitters, Classic, 1 Oz

This is already my third bottle, and I honestly can’t imagine not having it with me anymore. I use it before every meal, and it really helps with digestion, especially after heavier foods. Bitters are very beneficial because they help stimulate digestive enzymes in the mouth, which is where digestion actually begins. I always hold it in my mouth for about 30 seconds before swallowing to get a stronger effect. The taste is definitely bitter and not something special, but it doesn’t bother me at all. I care much more about the benefits than the flavor. Overall, this has become a consistent part of my daily routine. p.s. it's not big, so it's convenient to bring everywhere with you :)

If you enjoy bitters like Angostura, you will definitely like this. I think the flavor is great, very astringent but enjoyable. I do think it helps digestion and stomach trouble a bit. I wish the spray was more powerful or dispensed more volume at once so you didn't have to spray so many separate sprays to get a full hit of it.

think this may be working better for me than the Dr. Mercola's... then again I may not have been taking that in sufficient amounts due to skimping... taste on this Herb Pharm is distinctly bitter (with a sweetish? aftertaste reminiscent of some tincture I seem to remember from my past...). the Dr. Mercola is syrupy sweet by comparison. scant, very slight, little alcohol feel; no fear of any alcohol related burning sensation... I quite like it so far! like the simplicity of the few spritzes... will see but feel hopeful about this...(!)

I started taking these specifically to help curb sugar cravings, particularly the late-night kind that derail everything else I’m doing right. A few drops before dinner and again in the evening — that’s been my routine. Honest answer on whether it’s working: I’m not certain yet. There are nights where the craving just doesn’t hit the way it normally would, but it’s too early to say confidently whether that’s the bitters or just variability. The dropper bottle is practical and the 1oz size is a low-commitment way to try it before buying larger. These are excellent for on the go digestive support. Also,.very good for a sore throat. You can spray them anytime you have a persistent cough as well. Most Americans are missing bitters in the standard diet.

I am hopeful this is working to support my gallbladder issues. The taste is awful. If you can't handle bitter (not tart) flavor don't waste your money. It is hard to swallow.

Before eating (recommended)… or during, after. This formula just works. Like magic. I had to have my gallbladder removed so sometimes I need extra help digesting fat and/or uncooked vegetables/greens. Really glad I have this and always have it on hand. This as a spray couldn't be easier. (Remember to hold in mouth briefly per instructions.) And every ingredient is certified organic. Awesome. I also really appreciate that they don't throw trendy immune stimulants in there because I have an autoimmune condition and would not be able to use it if they did. Perfect as it is, anyway. Herb Pharm has always been such a slam dunk company. So thankful.

First. This is non-refundable. Second. It contains (44-54%) cane alcohol. Wish I would’ve checked the “other ingredients” more closely. I didn’t even open the bottle. I’m having gastro issues and there is NO WAY I would put this in my body knowing half the bottle is cane alcohol.
